The Gilmore is a charming, clean and friendly hotel. We enjoyed the location, the staff was so helpful and pleasant, the morning coffee perfect! I doubt our vacation would have been so much fun if we had stayed anywhere else. The food at Annabelle's Keg and Chowder House is terrific and you can't beat that gorgeous old bar. |Having the shuttle to and from the ferry was a bonus. Great hotel with excellent location in town. Staff was wonderful...had an issue with the toilet upon checking in and was able to switch to another room, no hassle. They offer a complimentary ride courtesy of the local taxi service to and from the airport ferry if you flew into town.

Overall a great experience as this was my first time visiting Alaska.

A great hotel in a central location in the city. Since I arrived well before the regular check-in time, I was able to leave my luggage there. I was also notified by email by the friendly receptionist that my room would be ready early. The reception staff was always very friendly, helpful, and always available for a quick chat. I can recommend the hotel to everyone. The attached Gilmore Cafe and Restaurant were also very good and I highly recommend it. If I stay in Ketchikan again, this hotel will be my first choice!

Nice little spot if you’re hanging g out in Ketchikan for any length of time. I’ve stayed here twice in the last couple of weeks and Anthe at the front desk is great! Cab rides to the Ferry are very helpful and the attached restaurant, Annabelle’s, is great for dinner:) I would stay here again. The rooms have character and the staff are super helpful.

Hotel was built in 1927 so rooms are a bit outdated. However, the staff was amazing. Had an issue with the toilet in my room and was immediately moved to a new room. Location is perfect for going out to various shops, bars, and restaurants. Staff even helped me out with a ride to the laundromat so I didn’t have to pay for a taxi. Def recommend!!

Such a nice little hotel right in downtown Ketchikan. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was tidy and clean. In an older heritage building. Perfect location for a few days in Ketchikan.

I second I asked for anything like a little trouble with the wifi (my computer’s fault), ice (they brought me some) or anything else they took care of me. Great customer service. I will definitely stay there again next time I am in ketchican.

The Gilmore is very updated, no elevators, high prices in summer time, hot rooms, no A/C, ho hot water in showers. Have a side restaurant and provide shuttle tranaport to airport, good location is a plus.
