My one year old was recently seen in the ER and the nursing staff and the radiology girls Jessica and Justine were amazing with him! Everyone was extremely supportive and nice. When they realized they could not help us there they immediately got us a transfer order to get air flighted, they kept my 1 year old comfortable until we went on to the next hospital! Thank you for the quick action!

Only 4 stars, as no one is perfect :> My wife was there for many days. Received good care. Recently she has gotten worse and needs to get more care than I can provide at home. Asked her where she wanted to go. Said "The place in Willows" (Glenn Med Center) Then added "any place other than RIDEOUT" !!!

PS: Can't understand why the "negative" reviews!

Glenn Medical Center is the cornerstone of the Willows foundation. As a rural hospital and family medical center, they provide much needed services. They have recently added Dr. Phillips, a neurology doctor. He is nothing short of amazing. I just love Dr. Highman who is like an old time doctor and you KNOW that he cares about his patients. Many of the staff people go out of their way to help and are dearly appreciated, such as Jessica O. (referrals), Tanya (Dr Assistant) , Laurie (Front Desk) (Lori?), Amy & Jessica (radiology). The most amazing is Klacey. She is like a whirlwind of help and service.

If I could give a zero I would. My husband was forced there by Enloe hospital. Not only did they not give him water the " nurse practioner" never she claimed looked at his records for two weeks so even though she claimed had sepsis and covid the whole time never got meds. Then when she refused me to take him out of there she claimed would give meds. He was placed on and iv which had no water nor did he receive food. They said he couldn't have. They kept taking him for tests day after day but wouldn't treat him. He died a horrible death. He went into a coma when they took him to pull out a plug that had been left on the hospital before being transferred there. They had to get a Dr from yuba city for his final hours after I said if he was dying he's to come off oxygen as he was being tortured. At no time was I allowed to take him put of there. His arms the last day looked like he was wrapped in a straight jacket. . They refused him his Alzheimers bipolar meds for 2 week's. This is why I highly recommend you don't use them. There is no Dr except in emergency room but they never came to see him. His death is on them

During after hours, I went to the emergency room due to a major toothache and all the staffs, nurses, and Doctors there we're super nice. They attended my needs and pain and was seen right away. I was given 2 shots for my pain, and the lady who gave me the shots is good at it, and the lady who took blood samples, because I didn't feel a thing. Thanks to the lady who took my Vitals, and a BIG THANKS to the front staff lady for the TUMS! Thanks to Dr. Mose. I just wanted to give a big shout out Big Thanks to the night crew og the emergency room!!!

It is the worst place I have ever been, the smell of the facilities gave me a headache, but the worst was the Doctor Jeffrey Phillips, he is rude, unempathetic, he seemed angry because I did not understand his questions, my recommendation is that you bring a translator because he does not seem to understand a thing, without wanting to offend this Doctor should retire, he can barely walk and his advanced age shows a tiredness that prevents him from having empathy with others, I have seen some reviews of the place and it is a total disappointment.

I highly recommend driving a hour in any direction opposite of this facility. The receptionist at check in was rude and unhelpful upon arrival and when asking for directions. After finding the providers office I was checked in again at their front desk… Dr Philips did nothing but make assumptions about myself and my appearance and somehow related it to my neurological capacities. Not only was this man misogynistic but he was very homophobic. He referred his assistant as “it” because they had pronouns that fell outside of the “normal kind.” If you have any kind of self respect, please do yourself a favor and go somewhere you will be treated with dignity, empathy, and understanding.

I also hope his assistant finds a better paying job that treats them with the respect they deserve.🙏🏼 I cannot fathom working for someone like Dr. Philips.

We asked the nurse multiple times about my grandma's chest x-ray results and basically what's going on with her. The nurse's response was "I don't know". She didn't say she'd find out and get back to me or maybe the MD would follow up, nothing. We had no update on what was going on and she had been there for over 24 hrs at that point. Also no one even introduced themselves when they walked in. This is just basic standards of care... I was not impressed at all with this place. Please provide training on better communication.
