We had an amazing time on the horse and carriage ride. This was a surprise for my hubby's birthday and our 18th anniversary. He really enjoyed himself and so did I. The guide kept us engaged in conversation and need-to-know about the island. We really enjoyed the ride!

Booked an hour group ride online and the process was so easy. Most of my family had never ridden a horse, and the guides were great at picking the perfect horse for the rider. My son loved Sushi and can't wait to ride a horse again. Very relaxing ride on the beach and would do this again if we are ever back in the area again.

I would not recommend this place for beginners. There’s very little instruction. Some of the horses don’t get along and I can’t fathom why they would send those horses out together on the same ride. I spent the majority of my ride trying to avoid another horse who kept messing with mine, causing her to get out of line repeatedly, trot, get too close to other horses, etc. My husband was told this was only his horse’s second ride. We felt like the horses were just doing their own thing and we did not feel able to control them and there was very little help from the guide. I was told not to let my horse get too close to the one in front of it or she’ll get kicked, meanwhile my horse didn’t listen to my instruction, and the horse behind kept getting too close to mine as well. Although the scenery was nice, it was hard to enjoy.

I previously did a guided horseback ride in another area and the difference was night and day. Those horses were completely calm, followed the trail, and didn’t require hardly any intervention from the rider. I never would have booked this ride if I’d have known it wouldn’t be like my other experience at all!

While we had a nice time riding the horses I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this “facility” If it is your first time on a horse. There was no direction or guidance what so ever and it was very unprofessional. There were 3 separate groups of us, 2 paid for private tours and we paid for the public (less expensive). One group got to go on their private tour and the other was with us, meaning they paid extra and did not receive a private tour. It was just very unorganized but the horses were nice and I still enjoyed it. Just be aware when booking.

I do not recommend this facility for horseback riding. My husband and I are experienced riders, and we were looking forward to a beach ride. When we pulled up, the horses were penned in muddy, tiny pens and were obviously not groomed and not well taken care of. The pens stank and there were flies everywhere. There was no one around when we arrived, and our ride started 20 minutes late.

My husband was given a horse that was so ill that the poor animal could not keep up with the group. Once I dismounted, I had to go back for my husband to walk the horse the rest of the way back, and the horse was stumbling and did not want to walk.

There were people in our group who had never been on a horse, and no instruction was given. The leader said she had to stay in front the entire time, and never went back to check on my husband or the other rider that had fallen behind.

We did the sunset ride, had a great time overall, my horse was a tad cranky but over all a great time, my 5yo has never rode and had the BEST horse for his first time. Also Scott our guide was SO nice and understanding with everything along the way.

The guide was very knowledgeable. It was my first time riding horses and I was a little fearful at first, but then I felt confident about ten minutes into the ride after getting the hang of it. A tip for beginner is to remember about the instructions in the video, listen to your guide, and find your own groove with your horse because every horse is different. I will definitely be coming back for more. Also, we did the carriage ride the day after thanksgiving with all the lights up. We got Ms. Tammy and she really felt like family, and gave my family a memory that we will never forget. Thank you for the experience.

Loved the tour we had ! Drove 2 hours to ride horses on the beach, although we ride back at home. Had to do the beach experience at least once, and this was well worth it ! The guides were fantastic and kind. They place you on a horse good for your size. They do well with keeping everyone together for the most part. Small inland trail through wooded beach entrance, then the rest of the ride is ocean front, on the waterside. The driftwood beach we trail on is gorgeous 😍
