Good resort. Be aware it is family friendly so lots of young kids /splashing. Negative was lack of poolside seating at biosphere as guests seemed to โ€œsaveโ€ pool chairs even when they left the pool by leaving articles of clothing/towels for hours to save chairs for whenever they can back. The resort needs to figure out a better system to prevent this and I included it in my feedback so I hope something gets done for future guests. I was at the pool for over an hour with no chairs freed up. Ended up leaving the pool for this reason as the only options were either being in the pool or standing. Aside for this issue the resort was nice. Overall would recommend. Best part is the activities that were included. We also enjoyed the Crystal Cabaret show (extra cost but totally worth it) the guitarist and singer were great. The comedian Christian John was the best part of the night. Would highly recommend the show and particularly that comedian!

We had a lovely birthday weekend stay with my sisters. The pool complexes are amazing, the one at Minerals Hotel is far better than Grand Cascades. The amenities in general seem better at Minerals, which is odd considering Grand Cascades is more expensive to stay at. Book Minerals instead! The restaurants are also very expensive, you're better off door dashing from any of the amazing local restaurants, I highly recommend Hef's Hut and Cow Patty's.||The spa experience was lovely until the end. The spa services includes a mandatory 10% free which covers a foot soak, pink champagne, and "specialty chocolates" (plural) as listed on the website (as well as use of the pool for non-members but since I was already staying at the hotel that is useless for me). What they don't mention is you get handed ONE chocolate from a tray and you are met with an attitude and rolled eyes when you ask for a second one. My sister's and I don't (can't) drink alcohol (to which the only offered alternative is water), so I thought we could get more chocolate instead of champagne but the lady was rude about it. "Chocolates" should not be plural on the website and why did I pay 10% for that? ||There's also a surprising and disappointing lack of alcohol-free alternatives all throughout. Many of the events include alcohol, but don't offer anything for the non-drinkers. I should be able to get juice offered to me, at the very least.||It was too cold to do most of the free amenities, but rock climbing is a lot of fun and the heated outdoor pool is phenomenal!

I booked a suite at Grand Cascades lodge as a Christmas present for our family. I have to admit that I was a little leary after reading some of the reviews and almost canceled. I am so glad I didn't! The hotel is gorgeous and absolutely immaculate. Our jr suite was very spacious and I loved that we had a dryer for when we came in wet from the snow. The food was fantastic and we loved the activities. It was hands down the most relaxing family trip we have ever taken. The outdoor pools and steam room made the whole experience feel like a spa day. The staff was very friendly too.||||My only criticism is I did find the 10% fee they add to everything a little off putting, particularly since staff didn't seem to know what it was for. For instance, the adult dinner and a show is advertised as $50 per person but came out to $65 after taxes and fees. Just make the price $65 to begin with so people don't feel nickel and dimed.||That being said, we still found the dinner and a show to be a good deal and we all enjoyed ourselves. ||||Overall we had a fantastic experience and will be back!

Don't believe the bad reviews. Those people might be snobs, never happy with anything, or didn't follow the guidance provided when booking. I recommend following the guidance and booking dinner reservations in advance. We didn't but we were fortunate enough to get a seat at the bar, which did not disappoint. I had a wonderful time with my friends. The staff and service was excellent. The Cabaret show was so much fun and the music was excellent. The wine cellar was so cool. The room was nothing special, your average room, but it was clean!!! The beds were hard (which is common in resorts). Certainly enjoyed the outdoor hot pool, and met so many wonderful and fun people there. It's hard to keep those things as clean as I would like, but this is expected, in the middle of winter, the wind and leaves/junk will blow in there but the chemicals will kill what's needed. The grounds are beautiful! We had snow, and that really topped off the experience.

Had the chance to grab a group of friends and get out for lil weekend excursion and we definitely picked the right resort. Didn't know sussex county had such a beautiful resort with spectacular views and so many amenities. The staff was great, the rooms were clean and very comfortable and resort had plenty to do. Once we told the staff what we were looking for they directed us to right activities and help us setup our spa treatments and dinner plans. ||Cant say enough what a great experience this was. Looking forward to going back again soon.

We had a great girls weekend/bachelorette party at the Grand Cascades lodge. Every member of the staff from booking (Dawn) through our stay (bellhops, waitresses, masseuse, etc) were wonderful. The rooms worked out perfect for a big group. We had a one bedroom suite with connecting double queenโ€” perfect for a group of six! The full kitchen really helped keep the cost affordable for snacks and lunches and we enjoyed dinners at the resort. Besides the spa, our favorite activity was the goat yoga! If youโ€™re planning to bring kids the minerals side is probably the way to go but on the grand cascades side, although family friendly, were more adults and other birthday/bachelorette groups.

Memories to last a lifetime and at only a 2 hour drive from Long Island we will definitely be returning.

Hotel and spa service and location are great. Rooms are clean. However, it's not really worth the 4-star hotel pricing. It's severely overpriced considering the hotel itself is so outdated and in need of renovation. We had a room with 2 queen beds but there was no place to put our folded clothes and the closet only had 5 hangers. The bathroom tiles and tub are old. The tiles in the steam room at the spa are missing grout and loose tiles were piled up on one of the seats. Steam room and sauna at the biosphere are small. We chose this hotel for the spa experience so we were a bit disappointed.

I went to Crystal springs for my sisters birthday this past weekend. Saturday night we went to the Crystal Cabaret with little expectations and my god were we all blown away! Girlando was INCREDIBLE and the comedian Veronica Mosey was hysterical!
This was BY FAR the highlight of the entire trip! If you are looking for a great night out in the comfort of your hotel I recommend seeing them at the cabaret.
