When I first arrived, one staff was a little abrasive. I am glad that I didn't let someone else's unhappiness ruin mine. I wish only the best.
A little shout out to Cassie, who worked very hard throughout the day to keep everyone feeling like they had a second home. I really appreciate everything!! The manager was always willing to help and very nice as well!!
The rooms were clean, and I slept so nice, so nice.
I recommend stopping in, and enjoying a grand stay, with grand people. Very nice.

We went for a funeral. Stayed one night. The room was very clean and beds were nice and comfortable. The breakfast was average but good and clean. Liked the smaller waffles.

Beautiful hotel, employee at check-in was awesome! Problems we had were if you stay more than one night there are no services, they don’t empty garbage, or replace toilet paper or Kleenex if out, nor get dirty towels. There was also a plumbing problem in one of our rooms so they handed us a plunger and said “have at it” just put it outside the door when finished. We couldn’t fix the issue so they did have us switch rooms.

Beautiful facility, near new, clean and comfortable, nice beds. Highly recommend this lodge. Helpful front desk staff. Very clean. If you are tired of travel, this is the place to stop. We traveled in the fall and it was very quiet. If you want complete quiet, get a room on the opposite side from the highway. That would be the only improvement I would make.

The room extremely clean and my stay was overall a comfortable and welcoming stay. The room was immaculate and the scent of freshness and newness filled the air throughout the hotel. I slept like a baby without any interruptions or noise.

On top of that, Brenda, the morning service attendant, was wonderful. Highly recommended.

I had a great time lodging at the Grandstay Hotel & Suites in Algona. I came to visit on business and couldn't have been happier with my experience. Spotlessly clean, great amenities and beautiful facility. The beds are extremely comfortable and I slept like a baby every night I was there. I'm looking forward to staying again when I'm next in town.

I couldn’t recommend the Grandstay more! Perfect spot on the highway there in Algona. People were extremely friendly! Rooms were well kept. This will not be my last stay with them!
