One of our top priorities for our wedding was having good food and not running out of it before everyone was served since it was a buffet. Great Caterers of Iowa provided the best experience for us and our guests! At the tasting, it was just us trying the food and the chef made it fresh for us. He also came out to ask how everything was tasting. The food was so good the day of and we even took some of almost everything home. They packaged leftovers up for us and cut and served the cake. I think we got an amazing deal for the quality and quantity of food! We had a lot of compliments on the meal and sent some of it home with family & friends the next day. Highly recommend Great Caterers for your next great event!

We had the pleasure of working with Great Caterers of Iowa back in January for a wedding we coordinated. We were not shocked to learn they were a preferred vendor at the venue we utilized. They came right in and got straight to work and served the food hot and on time. Bonus it was delicious! We highly recommend them for weddings!

Had a wedding tasting for my vegan daughter and her fiance. Chef Jimmy went out of his way to prepare an amazing array of delectable entirely vegan food choices that all wedding guests will enjoy. Very much looking forward to the wedding and the surprises in store for all the wedding guests. Cannot thank Great Caterers enough for their incredible professionalism. Each dish was a hit, and we loved being able to enjoy leftovers for days after the wedding. Joni is an amazing host! She has so much knowledge beyond her expertise in catering. I feel like I had a mini wedding planning session with her! Food 14/10! I'm amazed with the hospitality. I know the wedding will be amazing after chosing her!! Her company has amazing credentials, a huge array of food....don't even get me started on choices...they are plentiful and good luck choosing! 100% would reccomend Joni and her delightful team!! I will rest easy tonight after choosing Joni who feels like family already!! Follow up to come after the wedding!!

Great Caterers of Iowa provided food & water glasses for our June 15, 2024, wedding and we were so happy with how they did! Joni was easy to work with throughout the entire process, and most importantly, the food was PHENOMENAL on the wedding day! We got tons of compliments about how delicious everything tasted. The pork loin and chicken were moist and tender, and the pesto pasta stole the show. We would highly recommend GCI to cater your next big event!
