We stayed in one of the dog friendly cabins on the river. Super clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable! Easy walk to restaurants and hiking trails. Easy drive to fishing both on the reservation and national forest lakes. We loved it so much we booked another week in June. This could become a yearly stay for us!

THE GOOD:
Beautiful location on the river.
Awesome deck on the cabin (#96).
Nice furniture.
Comfortable bed.
Loved having a BBQ.

THE BAD:
Not a brand new cabin as stated on website.
Refrigerator was missing a shelf and had no light.
Broken kitchen faucet (they replaced after we told them).
Broken/noisy toilet.
Ceiling fans look as though they have NEVER been dusted. Pretty gross.
Playground needs a lot of TLC.
WiFi is $20 a day and not good.

Greer Lodge Resort offers a serene getaway nestled in the White Mountains of Arizona. Surrounded by lush pine forests and tranquil lakes, the resort provides the perfect environment for relaxation and outdoor activities. The rustic charm of the cabins combined with modern amenities makes it a comfortable retreat for families, couples, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

One of the standout features of Greer Lodge is its picturesque location. The resort is beautifully situated near Little Colorado River and a handful of pristine lakes, offering guests opportunities for fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. In the winter, the nearby Sunrise Park Resort is great for skiing and snowboarding, while the summer months bring an abundance of scenic trails for hiking and biking. The cabins themselves are well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with fireplaces, providing a cozy ambiance, especially during colder months.

The staff at Greer Lodge Resort are attentive and friendly, making check-ins seamless and providing helpful local tips. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, where they can disconnect from city life, as the cabins are well-spaced for privacy and quiet. Wifi is available for $20/day. Verizon and T-Mobile service are OK at best in cabin 90. Our cabin didn't come with an iron or ironing board. We had requested both but only an iron was delivered. A towel on the island made an ok board.

While the resort excels in offering a peaceful retreat, it may not be ideal for those seeking a bustling nightlife or high-end dining experiences. The focus here is on nature and tranquility, which makes it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts or anyone looking for a slower pace.

Overall, Greer Lodge Resort offers a perfect blend of rustic charm, comfort, and outdoor adventure, making it a top choice for those seeking a relaxing and scenic getaway in Arizona.

Greer is beautiful and the cabins are nice but for $500 a night I would expect shampoo and soap in the bathrooms and coffee and supplies in the kitchen. Also, our BBQ tank was out of gas and in one of our cabins the bedroom tv didn't work. Again, should be better for $500 a night.

Spent 2 nights at this nice lodge which is right on the river in Greer, AZ. The condo was very clean and well furnished. The Internet was an extra $20 per night and the reception was "spotty" but other than that, the stay was perfect. They loaned us games and DVD's at no extra cost. Fishing in the pond was also fun. There is a great playground for young children.

Not impressed. When we arrived there was bird poop on all chair cushions on the deck, and both of the glass tables were dirty so we couldn’t use the deck, the add said there was a fully stocked kitchen but there was limited cookware, utensils and silverware, only one small skillet, there was no keurig coffee maker or kitchen towels, the stove burners sometimes didn’t work, when we tried to open or close the curtains in the living room the curtain rod would fall down, the couch in the living room sagged in the middle so it made it hard to sit on either side and there was a big tear on it, the fireplace had such a film on it that made it difficult to see the flames in the daytime. The cabin was very old and had some updating but it needed much more, there was only 1 small bathroom for a cabin that sleeps 8 people. The cabin was very old and disappointing for what we paid. We expected a better experience. The pictures make it look much better than it is. The little babbling creek and shopping at the Grey Goose store was the best part of our stay. I don’t recommend this place and they should probably lower their prices

Stayed in Cabin 82 for 6 nights with 8 family members (and had an additional 3 family members next door in Cabin 83 for 3 nights). Cabin 82 needs serious repairs and updates:||-Front door frame was crooked, only had 3 hinges, would not lock or stay closed without deadbolt use, and did not have a screen door like the 3 cabins next to it.|-Kitchen sink counter was coming up and completely uneven; insufficient utensils, dish soap, and trash bags; not a stocked kitchen--no mixing bowls, no baking dishes, no oven mitts, and no broom; not enough electrical plugs, and kitchen light fixture so low 3 family members hit their head on it. |-Bathroom shower was small and filthy, mold growing on the ceiling, insufficient towels and toilet paper for 8, and took an office visit, after an unanswered text and voice mail message, to get fresh towels after 5 days of being there.|-Master bedroom door would not close completely and scraped along the floor when opening and closing.|-Back patio screen door was almost impossible to open with normal pull and continuously locked family members out.|-Back patio porch had several wood poles that fell out upon touch, one being two floors high (we had a 3-year-old with us), and furniture is covered in dirt and cobwebs.|-Back patio grill is filthy, completely unstable, almost collapsed while using it, and extremely difficult to light.|-Overall indoor furniture and settings our outdated, especially compared to the updates in Cabin 83. |-Wifi continuously going in and out.||They did not respond to texts, answer calls, or respond to voice mail messages left on the two numbers provided - only office visits but were not always there during the hours stated.||We did like the overall location in town and to the streams for fishing, the playground equipment and tables, and having two cabins next to each other.

Stayed at the Greer Lodge twice this year and have not been disappointed with the 2 different cabin's I rented.. Smooth check-in, clean, and comfortable. Our family had a great time exploring the area and fishing at the nearby lakes!
