What a wonderful time spent with Greg today during our NYC Greenwich Village Music and Food Tour. Not only do we get to try many delightful culinary treats but we get to hear the fascinating music history tidbits that this area had to offer. Food for your ears, mind and tummies.

Greg is very engaging and has a natural ability to tell stories. Audio snippets will be heard, great musical facts be told, and mouth-watering samples such as pastries and NY staples such as bagels and pizza to be eaten.

On my actual Birthday while in New York I booked this food tour. I really enjoyed taking the train in from Times Square to get to Greenwich Village. Our tour guide Greg was the best I could wish for and family has a lot of history in the community which he shared during our walk. A few fun facts learned along our route his grandmother being born and raised in the neighborhood, we actually saw her old home and we took an inside tour of one of the most beautiful churches his family has belong to for over a hundred years 😊. Every food stop was delicious he was very family with the owners and staff. I won’t tell everything we sampled so others can be surprised.

One of the best highlights is our group surprising me with a birthday song and treat as I was walking back to the table. Of course they made me I was so touched ❤️

P.S. New York pizza does taste good! 😊 and I’m from Chicago home of the best pizza ever!

We thoroughly enjoyed Greg’s Greenwich Village Music and Food Tour on January 24th. Greg imparted his deep knowledge of the history of the area, as well as his passion for the music and musicians of the past.
I think it is this passion for the musicians and their life stories as well as their wonderful music that truly makes Greg the wonderful tour guide that he is. Stops at cafes native to NYC were a definite plus. Bagle Bar, the best bagel ever. We also had an assortment of delicious cookies along the way.
