Alex came highly recommended and she did not disappoint! We selected the month of coordination package, which worked well for us because we wanted to do some things ourself but didn't want to stress on the day. Working with Alex made that possible. She was such a calming force throughout the planning experience and the day itself. I have so many friends who were very stressed leading up to their weddings and even on their wedding day, and all wedding weekend our friends/family kept saying “you look so calm” — that’s because we knew we were in great hands!! Her team was so incredible as well — she surrounds herself with very kind and competent people. Simply cannot recommend her more highly! Thank you, Alex!!

My experience with Alex was amazing. My fiance and I hired Alex for month of coordination and planning. She had a lot of obstacles to overcome and handled them all with grace. She is highly organized offers tons of ways and suggestions to save money and to maximize budget. The day of the wedding could not have gone more seamlessly. She worked with all my vendors organized and executed a perfect event. We ran out of tequila early on but Alex and her team handled it. I would reccomend Alex to any DIY brides. She had a lot of creative control the day of the wedding with tons of thrifted decor- she did amazing with pretty much no direction. Forever grateful to Alex and her team.

The Platinum Beat

The Platinum Beat provided the live music for a recent wedding at a lovely Spanish-style venue in Simi Valley. There were a number of logistical details to work out, including setting up AV at different locations at the property, coordinating with a DJ, and also providing MC services. Through the many months of planning and coordination, Grounded Events (specifically, our primary contact, Alexandra Dennis) could not have been more responsive, organized, and "on the ball." And on the day of the event, Alexandra's leadership, top-shelf organizational skills, and level-headed nature really shone through. We look forward to partnering again soon with Grounded Events!

Way overdue on writing this - I blame not having Alex around to keep me on track once the ceremony was over.

The best way I can describe how amazing Grounded Events was - the stress dreams I was having leading up to the wedding immediately stopped once we met with Alex; I went from having wedding nightmares to having someone to help make our wedding dreams come true.

Alex is the most wonderful coordinator ever. Super helpful and very organized which is super amazing while planning an event, specially a wedding. She is also the sweetest and most thoughtful person ever, so it’s definitely someone you would like there on your special day. She made our day so amazing and smooth. Organized, thoughtful, lovely -- these are some words to describe Alex, who did the month-of coordination for our wedding. But that doesn't really get to how essential she is.

Because of Alex, I had a completely stress-free and unbelievably joyous wedding day. I knew that she was there, so I didn't have to worry about a thing. (I typically worry about many things.) And in the lead-up to the event, she asked smart questions, sent helpful reminders, and made it so everything could run smoothly. She's a dream!
