Beautiful property and historic building, some say haunted ( friendly ghosts). Excellent venue for weddings and family reunions. The owners are probably the best florist and caterers in Bulloch and surrounding counties. Great bunch of folks who love what they do, and do it well! ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿต๏ธ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฅ€๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฅฎ๐ŸŒฏ๐Ÿฅฉ

Though I was only visiting this gorgeous property as a guest to a pool party in the back, the entire estate was just as enchanting as any individual trait.

This venue was wonderful! The grounds are gorgeous and clean and the hosts are super helpful and supportive. And donโ€™t get me started on the food! It tasted amazing and had plenty to eat for the group. The flower arrangements for the bridal party were unique and perfect for a spooky Halloween wedding. Everyone had a blast and wish we could relive it one more time. I couldnโ€™t recommend this place more!

Jackie was amazing. She made the whole process easy and she was very helpful during the wedding day. She would talk to me if I was stressed and made me feel like I was family! We would highly recommend. She took care of us and made our day perfection in doing so. Not to mention her venue is gorgeous!

From the first time I drove through the gates of Hames Hall, I knew it was the perfect location for my February wedding. After meeting with Allison and learning about the history of the building, the packages available, and the amenities included I felt like I was in a dream. I left my initial consult floating on a cloud!

Throughout the entirety of my 8-month engagement, Allison was consistent and communicative at every turn. Any time I had a question, she was responsive within minutes via phone or email. Her dad, Travis and her step-mom, Jackie helped put together the food and flowers for a weekend that was perfect beyond my imagination. It was a truly incredible experience from start to finish, and I couldn't have asked for a nicer, more down-to-earth team of good-hearted people to help me accomplish exactly what I wanted for my wedding.

If you're looking for a venue that is truly elegant, gives off vintage vibes, has a rich history, and will impress your guests- look no further. Every thing about this place is beautiful from the statues that greet you up front, to the breathtaking spiral staircase, to the cozy fireplace out back. If you want to work with a team who makes planning simple and gives 500% to make all your visions come true, this place has you covered. I simply can't say enough good things about my experience here and I would wholeheartedly recommend Hames Hall to every bride or person hoping to make their day as magical as they've dreamed and envisioned. Thank you again for all the effort you put into my special day!

It is a beautiful place for a wedding, but the food and drink quality is poor. They severed hot beer, the wrong beer from what was order. The entire day of the wedding the owner was completely rude and at the reception was very unprofessional. Do not recommend this for any bride looking for the perfect day. These people are crooks.

Poor food; Friday night the chicken was very dry, not a fan of the veggies very mushy. Mac and cheese was just too weird for mac and cheese also rolls to doughy or something. BBQ and coleslaw good.
As for the alcohol, not sure about your said permit/insurance but maybe you should teach your staff how to restock the cooler after beer runs low so that you keep cold beer on hand. The amount of people drinking should not have prevented you from cooling down the beer. One reason it may have been hard for you to keep up with/seemed to have more drinkers was because many people didn't drink the whole beverage because it was HOT and they most likely waisted the drink. Also, I know that the beer should have been Miller instead of Corona.

I do think as a "professional" you should have talked with the mother of the bride or groom about the issues instead of kicking guests out or pouring out drinks. As business owners you should understand about protecting your job, such as the teacher you wanted to kick out because she needed to have her drink in a cup instead of a bottle. I'm guessing that is also in your insurance/permit as well.

Jackie and Shug are the most welcoming hosts I've met in many years. I attended a wedding this past weekend and there was not one expectation left out. These people are as equally beautiful as the property this wondrous hall sits on. I cannot give enough stars! If you rent this venue be sure not to eat. You will be properly fed!
