Great place to stay. Our friend book this room as we have to evacuate from the fire. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Kid friendly and Pet friendly. They had a big balcony with a beautiful view! It’s a home away from home! Highly recommended! Will book another room again!

I booked a marina view room for one night. After reading the more recent reviews here, I did not have much expectation, and was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean, no weird smell whatsoever. The furnitures and carpet looked fine to me. I like having a wireless charger in the room. ||Free breakfast was more than ok. There were hot foods like eggs and sausages, pastries and cereals. I liked making my own chocolate waffles. Best part was, I was able to enjoy a quiet breakfast on the balcony with the nice view. It was really relaxing.||I thought the security was good. Keys are required to go into any part of the buildings, except the front entrance. ||I paid for hotel parking, but I wonder if I could park outside on the street. ||There are local farms within a 5 minute drive from the hotel where one can get some fresh produce, flowers and honey.||The next time I’m staying in Oxnard I would love to book this hotel again.

We stayed for a week in this hotel and loved it! It’s a smaller, somewhat older facility but the rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed. The bathrooms had a more recent update. Every single staff member was polite and helpful, which we appreciated. We had a harbor view and loved watching the boats and the sea lions :). As others have mentioned, there is a free breakfast and our only ding would be the additional charge for parking that you would typically find in large cities. We were pleased with the close proximity to Port Hueneme and would absolutely choose this hotel again.

Very nice place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The staff are very welcoming and hotel very clean and rooms are nice and clean , updated showers and rooms with patio view of Harbor. Pet friendly also big plus . Walking distance to food establishments. Free breakfast was really good tasty ever thing a person needs .

Honestly it wasn't a bad hotel, but 4.5 stars? No way. Location was decent, but that's about it. The rooms are average, and there was construction at the hotel with no warning during the booking process. It was pretty noisy during the day, and the access to certain areas was very limited. Had to walk around the entire property to get to my room since the main walkway was closed off for painting. Also the pool was open, but no way I would have used it with the amount of construction going on right up against the pool area. Anyway, it's an okay property but not four and a half stars.

Tucked back along the harbor this Hampton Inn beers from a traditional one with great views. Rooms were clean, standard, and the pool open but on the smaller side. Parking available by entrance, not by the building. Elevators were fickle while there and doors kept intermittently popping open before finally closing to change floors so we ended up using the stairs so we didn’t get stuck. Quiet along the water with balconies.

This was a fun place to stay, we stayed on the water side. They serve a great free breakfast. Oxnard is a lovely place to stay. It is so easy to drop your luggage there and cruise down to Santa Barbara for dinner and shopping.
You won't regret it.

Room, especially shower, really good. Quiet, well appointed room. Upgraded tech in room. Interesting guest mix of military (Pt Magu?) and vacationing folks. Breakfast is good and standard fair. Front desk coverage wecoming an helpful.

Two comments (complaints?) One regarding the snacks for sale...crazy expensive. Also, take issue with $12 a night parking charge. Silly when 99% of the guests arrive by car and when free on-street parking is available (and just as safe as hotel lot)
