Now that my elderly mother & I had an excellent 2 night stay here, it's very disappointing seeing any negative reviews. The rooms were both top-notch, as expected of any Hilton property. They put her room next to mine as requested. The hot breakfast had a great variety of food that was fantastic. The staff were great and very accommodating. David at the front desk was especially kind & went out of his way to be helpful to both of us. This was a family gathering, and another family member booked a hotel in a different suburb that supposedly had better reviews, but they were disappointed. We had a much, much better stay. I'm so glad I was not swayed by the false negative reviews. We couldn't have asked for a better stay than here. Thank you, Hampton Inn Columbus-East employees.

Our stay at this location was very nice. The staff was nice the room was clean and they provided enough towels, unlike other places we're we would of had to ask. The bed was comfy, it was quite. The elevator and stairs lead straight out back so we could easily go smoke. They provided a breakfast 😋 and it was good! Sad the waffle machine was broke tho! Over all glad we stayed.

I planned to stay one night at this hotel before moving to another one closer to the convention center the next day to save money. I wholeheartedly regret this decision. The beds in our 2 queen room were so incredibly firm and uncomfortable that we could not get a proper nights sleep. Several times I woke up with my limbs going numb. I also believe maybe I was allergic to what they use to wash the sheets, or they just weren't freshly cleaned sheets, that left me covered in rashes by morning.

My most important concern, which I didn't even realize until much later, was revolving around the check-in process. I use the Hilton Honors account and had checked in prior to arriving. I often don't even go to the desk and just use my phone to unlock rooms. The staff member at the check in desk saw us arrive and insisted on creating a plastic room card for us, which I had no problem with. I said I had checked in on the phone and he just asked what our room number is. Never was this confirmed by looking at my app, asking the name on the reservation, checking an ID or credit card. I was thinking about this experience as I was falling asleep and dreaded on how unsafe this made me feel. No effort was taken to secure our safety since all that was asked was the room number. This lead me to feel a little scared whenever I heard footsteps in the hallway. Anyone else could have just provided a random/occupied room number and been given a plastic key in this instance.

Needless to say, next time I travel to Columbus for a convention I will not be staying at this hotel again and will just budget for an extra night at the convention center.

Nice hotel. Has a pool and very good breakfast. The staff was super nice too. Mexican restaurant and Cracker Barrel just next to the hotel, no driving needed.

Our second stay here. Good prices, great rooms, great l breakfast included with the room fee, great staff. If doesn't get better than this for our tastes. Excellent choices of restaurants within a very short walking distance including BbQ, Mexican, fast food, and Cracker barrel.

The amenities for this hotel include an on-site restaurant. There has never been (in 30 years according to the check in clerk) a restaurant on-site. REMOVE THIS AMENITY BECAUSE IT IS FALSE ADVERTISING! Seems that I need to add more characters to get this published...so I'll repeat ... this hotel is false advertising an on-site restaurant that does not exist!

This hotel was typically our go to hotel when we were in town visiting family. Nothing special but the staff seemed ok. We recently stayed there and had something stolen from the room. We no longer feel safe staying here and would strongly recommend no one stay here, especially anyone with children.

Everything was great about our stay. Service was excellent in the evening and morning. Breakfast was good, including hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, waffles, and cereal. The rear entrance led right to the elevator, which was extremely convenient. It was very conveniently located amongst many stores and restaurants. The only thing that took away points was it was a little noisy outside and from the room air conditioner. But overall, I would definitely stay there again.
