While traveling through, needed a place to stay here. When in doubt, we usually opt for Hampton Inns as they offer good quality stays and free, good breakfasts. This place fit the bill, albeit a bit on the pricy side. Otherwise, it offered the usual good Hampton Inn qualities - good breakfast, big rooms, comfy beds, lots of counterspace in the bathrooms (don't overlook this!). ||Its location also offers lots of nearby restaurant choices.

Very clean hotel. Good location. The staff is friendly. Most importantly the pull out sofa beds are very comfortable. In my experience sofa beds are usually uncomfortable. This was not the case. This was one of the most comfortable BEDS I've slept in. Highly recommend. Give it a whirl.

Dave at the front desk did a great job checking us in and taking care of us! The hotel was renovated about 2 years ago and so it's very clean and updated (lots of places to charge devices.)

We were traveling with our dog and this place was very dog friendly. The room entryways are tiled, which was perfect for feeding station/wiping paws. There is also a wonderful dog park a short drive up the road (Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park) that had great off-leash space and nice on-leash walking trails.

There were plenty of options for food nearby as well - including for delivery. It was easy to find a gluten free meal. Would recommend if you need a place to stay in Medina!

Traveling with a large high school group, we reserved 40 rooms a month in advance. Our reservation was for a Friday night. We confirmed the booking the Monday before and again the day of the stay, providing our anticipated arrival time.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we found the manager at the front desk, unprepared for us. Only about 1/2 of our rooms had been entered into their system. None of the keys had been made. After standing in the lobby for an hour as this process was completed, we learned that they would not have enough rooms ready for all of us. (It seems that they were short-staffed as the manager was working the front desk and also cleaning rooms.)

We ended up about a dozen rooms short and had to find them at 3 other area hotels. We spent another hour getting as many of our people settled into this hotel as possible and making arrangements for the rest. In the 2 hours spent in the lobby, we heard from a few other unhappy guests regarding cleanliness and stocking issues.

This isn't necessarily a bad hotel. I see that there are a lot of positive reviews. I get the feeling that they were having a bad week as a new manager struggled to learn the ropes. I did think that it was worthwhile to share our experience though, as you may want to ask more questions if you're bringing in a large group. I'll also note that the manager worked with us to settle the bill amicably.

My family and I stayed at this hotel right after Christmas to visit family and friends. We recently moved out of Medina so this was the first time back so needed a nice place to stay. The hotel was very clean and the customer service was very professional. In particular, I would like to give a big shout out to David on the evening crew as he was very easy to work with. We were there five nights and with every request or ask he was always happy to help or accommodate. He took great care of us and we tried to return the favor and invited him over to the lobby for some pizza with our friends. On the last night our heater stopped working so when I talked with David he made sure to find us a new room to sleep in and let us keep our belongings in the original room as he knew we had a lot of stuff to move along with having kids with us. His extra care and personal approach made our first trip back home a very enjoyable experience. On a side note, I travel quite often for work and a Diamond Member with Hilton but this is my first review as I felt the hotel and David needs the proper recognition.

Positive: Very clean, well maintained rooms Negative: The parking lot lights are very bright, which is wonderful, but the curtains are not room darkening and it?s impossible to make the room dark at night.

This was a very nice and clean Hampton. The only thing I would say is that the faucet is put in the oddest place. Can't wash your hands without getting everything wet since it's in the corner.
Other than that, it is a great place to stay
