They were doing remodeling on most of the rooms on the first floor. This prevented me from exiting my 2nd floor room via the stairs vs the elevator which was way down the hall. However, there were no loud noises during my stay and I slept well with my requested foam pillows. Great service at front desk as well.

The number of lights out (at least 3 street lamps and 8 building perimeter lights)in the parking lot and around the building made the location dangerous for me, a woman traveling alone for work. I will never stay here again. See attached photos. I’ll not go into the gym housekeeping storage closet nor charcoal grill. See for yourself.

I have stayed at the Hampton Inn Mountain Home, AR every time we have visited family for 11 years. I shared in previous surveys that the rooms were in dire need of a renovation.

We finally got to experience one of the newly renovated rooms, and folks, it is a night and day difference from the Hampton Inn Mountain Home of days gone by. The beds are much more comfortable, the shower functions better and looks better, the decor is more up to date, and it just feels cleaner.
The hotel had previously charged rates that I did not feel were commensurate with the rooms we received, but this was well worth it. The gentleman and lady at the front desk were very accommodating, and noted that we had stayed there 22 times before. I highly recommend visiting this newly renovated hotel - you will not be disappointed.

They are in the process of redoing their hotel. Our room had been renovated and was clean. The beds were nice and we all slept well. They had the fridge completely turned off so we couldn’t put our food in the fridge right away. There wasn’t any ice anywhere except for in the food area on the first floor which was kind of a pain. ||The pool area is very old but the water was very warm and nice. I thought the water was clear and could see to the bottom. The bottom of the pool was rough if not wearing pool shoes but we had a great time at the pool. There were plenty of clean towels.||The breakfast area was okay. We got down to the breakfast area before 8. There was almost no hot food and the lady told us that there were a couple of servings of each item and that she couldn’t put out any more because they didn’t want to have extra food when the breakfast time ended. I asked when the breakfast time ended and she told me 10 AM so I didn’t understand why there couldn’t be any food out for two more hours. I asked a couple of times when we were going to be able to get more food as there were four of us. Someone came in after me and complained at the front desk, and finally some more food came out. The lady in the food area was not nice about it. I can see if you’re getting down there right when the breakfast is closing but we were not.

First thing I noticed when walking in the front door is how nice it smelled compared to other hotels. Clean and fresh. Room smelled fresh every time we walked in and was clean. Bed seemed smaller than a queen, more like a full, but it was comfortable. The shower had a weird crackle to it but the shower head was a good one. Staff were all very nice. Breakfast was good for free continental. Wish all hotels were this good.

Hot water was barely working then went out on a busy weekend with no urgency to fix. Place is in need of renovation as its musty and does not meet the Hilton/Hampton standards I pay extra for. This is the second Hampton I have ran into in the south that is in bad shape. We had a few more people from our team come in and they are not telling people coming in about the hot water issue. The hotel staff has been very friendly, so this is an owner/upper management issue. They should at least have a whiteboard when you walk in with the latest update on the water issue and allowing new check-ins to know about it.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed that the Hilton chain would allow this type of issue.

This Hampton Inn owned by Hilton is currently undergoing a complete renovation. We stayed in one of the new rooms. They are fantastic. Five stars all the way.
