The best Hampton inn I’ve ever been too (and I stay at a lot of hamptons). The hotel is super clean, the surrounding area and hills are beautiful with fantastic room views. A large pool, large hot tub and outdoor fire pit are all on property. The rooms were the largest I’ve ever seen in a Hampton inn and the shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was a hot breakfast that was really good as well. The only minor thing I’d say is that it would have been nice to have a bathtub shower combo but this property set the bar for the top Hampton I’ve ever stayed at.

My wife and I made a stop at this Hampton Inn for the night on our way back to San Diego. We booked a room with a King bed, and it had a nice couch and an open, spacious feel to it. The room was tidy, the bed was cozy, and we had a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast in the morning was really good. It offered the usual spread you'd expect at a Hampton Inn, but the food service and dining area were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The hotel also had a pleasant outdoor seating area, although it was a bit too chilly for us to dine outside. All in all, it was a really pleasant overnight stay.

I phoned the hotel at 1:45pm on 10/28/24 and waited on hold for 21 minutes without receiving a response. The individual who ultimately responded stated that no one had phoned, even though we had previously discussed making a reservation. This impolite individual abruptly ended the call with me. I called back and hung up again. At last, I found a woman who could guide me to the reservation center. !!! How can a hotel make you wait for 21 minutes and intentionally hang up the phone two times?
The desk Male person was mad for me saying I was holding the attitude on his voice was so bad!!!!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!!!

I was shocked to see a man with such a rude attitude working at your hotel as the individual at the front desk. THE CORRECT METHOD TO CALM DOWN A FRUSTRATED CLIENT WOULD HAVE BEEN:

" I apologize for the extended wait. Let me help you with your reservation; perhaps you were previously speaking with our reservation team and the call got disconnected. THAT WOULD PLEASE ANY CUSTOMER!!!” is the optimal approach, but instead he used a disrespectful tone by stating "

I was waiting here!! and no one had called even worse!!! not busy and more than a reason to have more time to help a customer!!! even worse !!!! abruptly hanging up the call. It was not an accident; I called twice and he deliberately ended the call. TERRIBLE!!!

THE HOTEL HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. For eternity!!

I was very pleased with this Hampton Inn. It was right off the highway and walking distance to Firestone Walker, which was a definite plus. The service at the front desk was exceptional. Bridgett was so friendly and helpful. (It's always nice to receive service from those who actually enjoy their job.) We sat outside by the firepits in the evening and enjoyed a glass of wine while watching the sunset. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

During our travel down the coast, we stayed at 3 Hampton Ins (in SLO, Buellton, and Santa Maria). Furthermore we stayed at the same Hampton in Buellton last year.
The rooms and bathrooms are clean and up to date. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is one of the best: plenty of choices. The kitchen staff saw to it that there was plenty of food. The dinning area is spacious, bright, and with a great outdoor setting.
The location of the hotel, i.e. 2 miles from downtown Solvang, makes it convenient when visiting Solvang.
Highly suggested.

My family and I stayed here a few months ago for a couple of nights. First, the good stuff, the amenities were nice. They have an outside seating area with fire pits. It’s quite a nice view. They have an outdoor pool that was not heated.

They had complimentary breakfast every morning that was good. We were able to use the seating area at night to play games (they also had games to lend out like uno, which we appreciated it).

It is very close to Solvang and the freeway which made it easy to travel to other nearby sites.

Now the rest, the rooms and customer service were subpar. The hotel itself was not super clean. You could tell the floors weren’t regularly cleaned and had debris and trash.

The room we had was big. I check every bed I sleep in when away from home and the bed we had looked clean from first glance but after inspection - underneath one of the sheets looked like a bug carcass or a piece of snot, either way- not great.

When I reported it to the night customer service staff- he seemed dismissive and unfazed. He let us know we couldn’t change rooms because they were booked, but he would take a report and have the morning staff address it in the morning. In the morning the staff said nothing was left for them. So he didn’t actually care or report it.

The bed itself was stiff and uncomfortable. The “king size” felt more like a queen.

The shower was weird to use. It didn’t release water from the top for some reason on our second night. And the front desk couldn’t help us with it. The TV accessibility was limited, it was older and it had cable with random channels.

If we are ever back in the area, it won’t be my first choice for a stay.

Very nice hotel, the staff was all very friendly. The room was clean. And the patio in the back is so relaxing and nice. The weather is so great in the evening and would recommend getting a pizza from Gino's pizza near by and just sitting back there with friends/family and chill.

am going in november review is because of exceptional service in correcting an error I made. Customer service handled by a Monica Bristow (spelling?) was above board. She rectified an error I made promptly and went overboard to assist me. Something I won't forget
