My son and I stayed here for one night. The hotel is on the East side of Hartford across the river. There is really nothing nearby so you'd have to drive everywhere. The hotel public areas and the room are clean and tidy. I checked in on the app the day before and picked a room on the top floor odd number, so that we face the river/Hartford downtown which is a nice view. ||We stopped by front desk to request additional key cards, and the staff handed us a bag of welcome drinks and snacks without us asking (I have Hilton honors gold).||Our room has both a mini-fridge and a microwave. The curtains are still the old-style where you pull them together. I prefer the newer window treatments at other Hilton properties which are black-out shades. ||There is some road noise and hallway noise but not excessive. The breakfast area is really small, especially for a Hampton Inn & Suites of this size. We had just stayed at the Hampton Inn in Danbury the night before; it is a smaller hotel but the breakfast area is bigger. Here, there is not enough tables and seats, the food area gets very crowded. So if you can, either go early, or go towards the end of breakfast hour.||We didn't use the pool so we cannot comment on it.

The hotel is a bit dated but it's clean. We had one of the (2 queen) suites. Microwave and mini-fridge in the room. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable (plenty of pillows, thank you!). I think for the price we paid, we got a very good deal. I was surprised that in the shower I never got hot water -- it ran quite a while and never got warmer. It was warm enough that I could wash, but it was not the therapeutic tool I craved for aching back and muscles. Also at the end of the hallway where my suite was, the temperature was kinda chilly - only to walk into an almost sweltering stairwell. The location (convenient to I84) was good, just across the river from the main part of the city. Overall a pleasant stay with only mild inconveniences.

I have the Hilton app and was able to check-in early and use the digital key throughout my stay. For 2 days I didn't speak to any of the employees, felt weird but I guess it's the new normal.
Beds are extra firm but the rooms are clean and spacious. Great location close to everything. Safe area. We will stay again.

Staff is fantastic, hotel is run very well, super clean, breakfast was great, coffee is abundant 24/7, printer in the biz center actually WORKS! This place has an overall great vibe. Clearly good management at work here as they've attracted and put a wonderful staff in place. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Hartford for business.

Stayed one night to make it to an early morning appointment.
Room was okay, though a little small. It needed a second chair. Heater fan was noisy and we couldn’t get any hot water- was glad to not have to shower.
It’s in a light industrial, office building area with no nearby restaurants or other attractions.
On the plus side, it’s properly priced and reasonably convenient to downtown Hartford. Also pretty accessible to the highway as an overnight stop. Not exciting, but a good short-term day or two stop for business or road trip.

Stayed overnight here in our way through our destination in New England. We did online check-in and check-out. The staff were not very friendly going in and out of the hotel and passing by the front desk. The rooms were ok, they could be updated, though they were clean. The mattress/bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was a good size and I like that the vanity and sink were separate from the shower and toilet. The TV could be larger although it had many channels. The free breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Overall it was an ok stay.

1/16/25 @ 7.p.m leaving 1/17. We stayed in room 409. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The reason we gave it a ONE STAR WAS DUE TO OLD CIGARETTE SMELL! It filled the room, even the bathroom when the door was closed on opening it was horrendous. The air was heavy and we got headaches. We called the front desk the morning of the 17th, and the receptionist was wonderful. She apologized for the smell and gave us a reasonable adjustment. Also, we noticed the condensation on the inside of the windows pouring down the glass. I always liked hampton Inns, but this was a disappointment in quality. The room smelled terrible and probably needs a makeover to get the old smoke out.

We checked in around 8pm and the two ladies at the front were very nice and gave us a few quick food options at that time of night. The room was clean and we couldn’t have asked for more. Breakfast in the morning was one of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve had. They had a nice spread of cheesy omelets, turkey sausage patties, and seasoned potatoes. Additionally there was a cereal bar, waffle station, and other toasts/bagels. The only “complaint” was while the hotel is a great location to get around Hartford, the hotel itself doesn’t feel like it’s in the best area. The surrounding area was kind of dark but the parking lot was very well lit and there was a security car in the lot. Regardless we felt safe and would return for a good price!
