When two friends and I began planning a golf trip to Ireland close to two years before the trip dates, we thankfully came across Haversham & Baker's website. The team at H&B made this bucket list trip for 20 guys from Rhode Island and Massachusetts the trip of a lifetime, and one none of us will ever forget the times we spent together. H&B's experince and relationships developed over decades made what could have been a logistical nightmare, the smoothest traveling experience I've ever been a part of.
When one of my friends said "my soul is smiling" as we were walking a fairway at Adare Manor, I knew we had made the right choice to use H&B.

I just returned from a Haversham & Baker trip to Ireland. It was my number one favorite trip of my life. They arranged a first class trip including the most elegant hotels, top courses and delicious eating establishments.

I’m truly impressed with their guidance, kindness, preparation and the price we paid was fair and commensurate with what we enjoyed.

Just returned from my second H&B trip and once again the planning and execution was flawless. The first trip included 36 holes and lunch at Muirfield and the second had prime tee times at the Old Course. With reasonable advance timing, H&B found a way to accommodate all of our scheduling requests from courses and tee times to dinner reservations. The motor coach was new and comfortable and the driver/host was a complete professional. I would not use any other company to plan my golf excursion.

Absolutely top notch. Expensive but worth every penny. Driver was the best. Donnal was cheerful and informative and fun. He called all 16 of us by name. Every course we played and every hotel was excellent. I will use H+B anywhere they go.

Initially said I was not going to give a review but since I did not get a response to my last email, here goes. Firstly I will admit culpability due to my own carelessness. I said I was arriving from Bordeaux, France several times and my travel was on September 21. The company didn’t pick this up and assumed I was leaving the USA on 9/21 and booked my hotel and car for 9/22. When I arrived at Hertz to get my car and after waiting in line for 90 minutes, we had a car and H and B graciously picked up an extra night in our hotel. H and B, in reserving a car did not ask if we had a Hertz Gold Card which would have saved us the 90 minute wait since there was nobody in line at the Gold counter in Dublin. In addition if you get your rental with Amex, your insurance is covered gratis. H and B only gets you a $3,500 deductible so that needs to be cleaned up moving forward and more questions need to be asked by H and B to the customer.
We also, on arrival and more than 72 hours before our stay in Killarney, asked to cancel our last night in Killarney and put us up at an airport hotel in Dublin. I had been told to fly out of Shannon but that trip would have taken 24 hours to get home. I was told that could not be done. When I got to Killarney, I inquired of management about the last night cancellation. I was told that needed to be done 72 hours in advance so there would be no refund. That cost me an extra $400 for an airport hotel in Dublin.
Finally, on our last day we were booked at about 1:30 at Tralee and we asked for an earlier time, H and B got us a time around 12:30. My wife called Tralee and we teed off at 8:15 with no questions asked.
This was my third trip with H and B and the first time I had to make the arrangements. I made mistakes but as a professional travel consultant, so did they. When they says there’s a 24 hour hotline, if you call in the middle of the night Cincinnati time, you’ll get an answering service and you do not get immediate assistance as advertised.
The hotels were fine, the golf was stellar, the service was great until they needed to think or help, thus my 3 stars.
