Gorgeous outlook to the lake, the view is best seen at sundown. Plenty of information inside to help insure you’re upholding proper etiquette! Staff is extremely helpful if you need direction, for example they can tell you if there’s a telescope technician around or if they will be there that day. The building is very nice. There is some programs during the summer, most of which are free. The gift shop is open 4 pm until midnight. If you come here after dark, please follow the night time etiquette. Red lights only, no white or bright lights.

Such an amazing and well thought out space. A lot of thoughtful touches including beautiful pink bushes, benches, an inside auditorium, and outside auditorium, a gift shop and sparkling clean restrooms. I high rep men this facility and can’t wait to see what they do with it!

Great place for some star gazing. We came for the meteor shower and stayed for the northern lights. Plenty of room in the grass to lay a blanket out. Remember to bring a red flashlight. White light not allowed. They are adding additional parking so, there's construction for summer 2024.

Awesome! Next time I will come at night as this is a dark sky park. As you can see from the pictures, it was still cool during the day.

A hidden treasure full of astrological sightings! We didn't even know the place existed until we saw a sign for it. We were able to see the sun, Jupiter, Saturn, and the moon thru high powered telescopes provided by the park. A young man, by the name of Andrew, educated us all on the night sky. There's a gift shop that is open late where they have drinks and snacks to buy. You may want to arrive early, by at least 7, to get a parking spot as it fills up quick. There is extra parking but be prepared for a hike. A very neat experience, plan on dressing warm and staying late!

Great views, nice atmosphere, for better sunset views walk down the rocks to the right it opens up to a rocky flat area which is where these were taken. Heads up rocks are covered with spiders lol.

Beautiful place! Totally recommend coming at least an hour before sunset. You can walk the little bit of water and check out the visitor center before star gazing
