My husband and I went up to Snowflake from Surprise for a weekend stay, and I wish we could have stayed longer! We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary in the Coffee Cottage room and brought our two pups. Needless to say, we all had a good time. The decor in the room was so nice, and we really wanted to just take all the furnishings to our own home, especially the Jacuzzi tub! Check in was easy with the info we needed sent to our phone, and we checked out just as easily. The guest lounge was right next door and so helpful with snacks and drinks. I can't wait to stay there again in the future ?

We stayed in the main House. It was a very nicely renovated piece of history. A large sitting room greeted us as we entered followed by a spacious dining room. A full-function kitchen with most everything you might need to cook a quick meal in the evening. There was one bedroom on the main floor (Master) with a bathtub. And a large TV room. Follow the narrow staircase up and you found 2 more spacious rooms each with their own bathroom and shower. It looks like a very well kept place, lots of outdoor seating and a very nice yard.

Beautiful place! Room was exceptional and the bed one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The soaking tub was so nice - the design was modern and it was spacious enough to accommodate 2 comfortably. The room was quiet even though it's located off the main street; once in the room, we couldn't hear traffic or other noises at all. Courtyards & porch areas are beautiful & relaxing. Highly recommend staying here!

Great place, loved it and would stay again. The courtyard was enjoyable and the lounge was well stocked. Everything was very clean. The only suggestion I have is that if you prefer a soft pillow, make a special request for it. The pillows were very hard (for me). Check in was very easy, communication very detailed. Enjoyed the area as well.

I grew up in the area and have always wanted to stay here, I finally talked my husband into a stay-cation for our 6th anniversary, and we enjoyed our stay. The bed & bedding were incredibly soft and comfortable, the room was cute, and we were right next door to the room with the continental breakfast. Its not a "warm" breakfast, but they had plenty of food to fill us up. They also have DVDs you can borrow during your stay. We had our own private bathroom with a jetted tub, but since the tub was so big there wasn't much room for a shower. The tub did have a shower head, but it was kind of awkward showering in it, because nothing around the tub is really shower proof.

Lovely, comfortable and so inviting. We needed a place to stay en route to Durango, Co, and the Heritage Inn was perfect. Code accessible doors so we could arrive anytime, and a perfect quick continental breakfast before jumping back on the road.

I really struggle with this rating - I would probably put it at a 3.5. It wasn't average, but I can't rate it "very good". We stayed in the Coffee Cottage for a 1 night stopover, and while it is an adorable place that is probably the best option for the location, it still misses the mark on a couple of important things.||Noise - there is a resident chicken/rooster across the parking lot from this room who is a very talkative early riser, with some friends who sleep in a little bit. There is also some road noise, and since this room is next to the area where food/snacks are, the combination of all these will likely have you up early. They did provide ear plugs (and a makeup towel), but since they were in a place that was kinda tucked under the upper shelf in the vanity, we didn't notice until the next day when we were about to leave. The other things are the fan, AC, and flooring. The AC is loud when it turns on, and I honestly thought there was a super loud grandfather clock somewhere till I realized it was the fan. There is also no way to walk from the bed to the AC nor bathroom area without the floor creaking loudly. Needless to say I didn't sleep much even though the bed and pillow were both super comfortable.||Shower - even though their website does say private bath with jetted tub under the room description, it didn't occur to me that there wouldn't actually be a shower, especially since this room was formerly the honeymoon suite and their website lists walk-in showers as an amenity. The tub is large, but surrounded by drywall, so even though it has a spray handle, I didn't feel like either wasting that much water for a bath, nor trying to do a makeshift sit down shower attempting to keep warm and not soak the walls. This is something that could be made clearer before booking, especially considering the mixed messaging online.||Breakfast - calling their continental breakfast "robust" is... a stretch. They had some mini muffins, then the rest being individually sealed bagels and other breakfast items like biscotti. It did seem like there had been hard boiled eggs, but none when we were there. ||Aside from these things, the place is absolutely adorable, staff was wonderful to deal with, the room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of well placed outlets, fluffy towels and cute decor. They have outdoor patio furniture where you can sit and enjoy the garden while eating. If I were to go again I would likely choose a different room, but would certainly stay here again.

Home built in 1890. Our suite was originally a stable. Coffee room was a granary. Continental breakfast, snacks. Smart TV, large shower. Comfortable space.
