Lake City is full of really nice people and this place is no different. It started with nice well kept equipment and a young family doing business. They gave us some good advice and recommendations. They knew the equipment and its capable distance. I will use them again and expect them to well in business. I hope the town stays open for off-road customers for decades to come to experience the adventures we did. Thanks for everything.

Awesome experience! We didn’t plan ahead so nobody in town had a side by side to rent. High Altitude took the time to let us know they had a cancellation and we were able to head out for an adventure. The check-in was short and simple, the service was great, we had no trouble learning how to operate the vehicle, and had a great time doing the Alpine Loop. I highly recommend High Altitude Adventures. Just plan ahead to be sure you get a rental.

High Altitude wins best all around!! Easy booking process, amazing customer service, and stunning experience! If you do the Alpine Loop we highly recommend hiking down to Whitmore Falls and stop in Animas Forks. Kayla and Robin were so informative and kind and we can’t wait to visit again! - Rach & Tiff

Loved our rentals from High Altitude! The entire experience was top notch from start to finish. Being a family owned business, you could really tell the owners care about the equipment, the families, and the experience. They went above and beyond getting us to / from the drop spot since it wasn’t accessible during this part of the year (not usual since we came early). Most of the season, this location is great because you can ride directly to the trail. The machines were new, well maintained, and performed perfectly the entire day. What more could you ask for! Thanks so much!

We rented two 4-seaters from High Altitude and had such a good experience we came back and rented again the following weekend. Never had any issues with any of the machines and loved the night before pick-up option with the late return option. Definitely book your rental with these folks if you haven’t already!

The folks at High Altitude are laid back and very friendly. They answered all the questions we had and are safety focused. The Polaris was smooth going over rough terrain. The views on the alpine loop are spectacular. Definitely a highlight of our trip.
