As I sit here in my mom’s room, I am watching the Amazing care and service everyone brings to the table for all of their patients. They are so kind and compassionate. They are so loving to her, and they make my whole family feel loved and welcome as well. They go out of their way to make sure my dad is taken care of when he visits and bend over backwards to ensure the families are happy, and their patients are well taken care of. It warms my heart to watch these selfless people work tirelessly to ensure these people are treated as though it is their own family member. I applaud their kindness and work ethic, I couldn’t ask for a better place for my mom to find peace. Kudos to the team, the leadership, the training program and the awareness of finding top talent! Thank you highland oaks!

Highland Oaks is such a caring nursing facility! Our family is always made to feel welcome and our family member is well taken care of in this facility. The employees go above and beyond to ensure that each person at the facility is safe, they are fed, warm, and can choose to participate in activities.

When we take our family member to the dining hall, they are so kind to feed us as well, and it is very much appreciated. They don’t have to necessarily do this, but they make us feel very welcome and they make sure that we are taken care of as well.

I have worked with my family members advocate at the facility, and she is wonderful!
She makes sure our family member has all of the attention they need for their services. And she keeps me and my sibling apprised of anything that needs our attention. It is very comforting to have such an advocate helping us through this very difficult journey. Thank you so very much!

some of the staff is unprofessional, my mom was here & they texted people on facebook specific details about her and things only the guardian should know. theres one worker most of the time on the dementia unit and the residents pay the price, i was visiting my mom one night & as i was heading out one of the residents was on the floor and another was trying to help him but couldn’t. i started looking around for someone because this guy wanted up and when i found the worker she said she had put him there intentionally. there is a worker there named Breanna and she broke hippa twice. she left highland oaks and spoke about my mom in detail and said she didnt belong there and there is better facilities for her, yet my mom has Alzheimer's and tries to run away and she will get in a vehicle with a stranger, if you have a loved one in this facility please check on them especially at night cause the hallways reek of pee.

My husband was there for awhile after his stroke everyone there went above and beyond and treated us like family I couldn’t have asked for a better place from the nurse to the aides to the cooks they was the best if you need a place for your loved one I would highly recommend Highland Oaks

The staff at Highland Oaks are always very friendly, I brought my dog with me to see a resident, and they were very welcoming of us both.

The country fried steak mashed potatoes were very good an you gave nice portions..everyone was excited to eat an enjoyed their meals...my husband ate his an we had takin him some food..but he bragged about the steak an potatoes..thanks so much for doing meals like that

This place was awful to my father in law. He spent two months in the AlAlzheimer’s unit and the first time we went to visit him we found him on a mattress on the floor. He had on only a gown and adult diaper. There was fecal matter.on his urinal, and he looked like he hadn’t been bathed in days. We have them $20.00 for a haircut that he never got. I don’t know it his money was stolen or what but I do know that we paid for a haircut he never got and the money wasn’t in his things when we brought him home. As for his things, we didn’t get any of his clothes back. I don’t know whose clothes they sent home with him but they weren’t his. I was very disappointed with the lack of care he got there . I was for years a STNA so I know what it’s like for the staff and although these places are understaffed there was no excuse for his things being taken and money for a service he didn’t get. I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone I don’t like let alone ever trust them with the care of another of my loved ones.
