My daughter had her birthday dinner here. The facility is conveniently located and the space was perfect. We were able to seat about 60 people with room to spare. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional.

This is located at Kavanaugh Blvd and Lee Ave in Hillcrest. Hillcrest Hall sees a number of activities. The ones I know of but do not attend are weddings.
Before the beginning of the coronavirus, I enjoyed more than one all day table top game day the past few years. The nice thing is you receive a chance to win a door prize. The somewhat annoying but necessary thing is that the library charges for food & drinks. Yes, the food there is real. However, you must leave in order to eat an actual meal. Some people walk there from south of Markham. I walked from west of Park Plaza Mall. Another walk is required for lunch and dinner. Many did not leave for lunch because of the chore.
I will likely go again if the library has this event again. We used to have game night once a week at the Main Library. Because of the hours and somebody wanted to save money (not the librarians hosting Game Night), those have not been a weekly event since years ago. I guess this will not resume for the same reason.
Sure, renting Hillcrest Hall for a wedding is likely to happen. I refer to the all day table top game days only.
