“I stay at the Hilton Garden Inn every month, and I’m consistently impressed by the level of cleanliness throughout the property. The rooms are always spotless, and the attention to detail really stands out. The common areas, like the lobby and dining space, are also impeccably maintained.

The staff here is equally outstanding—always welcoming, professional, and accommodating. They go above and beyond to ensure every stay is comfortable and enjoyable. It’s clear they take pride in providing excellent service.

This hotel has become my go-to spot because of how well it’s run. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and friendly place to stay!”

I’ve stayed here many times. It’s a great place if you’re traveling between NY and Boston. The service is always outstanding. With the breakfast buffet, and dinner menu at night, there’s no reason to order out. Anytime I needed something or had a question about the surrounding area, the staff always had an answer. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. The grounds are always landscaped and in great condition. There’s no reason to stay anywhere else in Milford. Oh, it’s also PET FRIENDLY!!!

Immaculately clean and neat, and our bathroom had an EXHAUST FAN! (That is rare in hotel
construction.). Reasonable price, friendly staff, near both I-95 and the Merritt Parkway.
We didn’t buy the extra breakfast, but it looked really nice, and the serving area was spiffy.

The staff is amazing, it's pet friendly and very clean.
Front desk is accommodating and always helpful. Housekeeping is always so pleasant. My stay needed to be extended and this place had everything we were looking for from a great excercise room, pool, laundry room and great breakfast.

I recently stayed here checked in 11/2/24 room 335 took a nap, woke up to a bed bug crawling on the cover. I called the front deck they came up, switched me to room 435. Be careful staying here. The lobby is renovated but the rooms are very dated for the price. Not to mention the bed bugs. The 2 bites on my inner elbow surface the following day.

Rooms and beds are pretty decent. Conveniently located not far from the University of New Haven. No bedbugs and reasonably clean. Service attendants were pleasant. We did unfortunately have to leave part way through our stay as we originally tried booking 5 days and they said we'd need to check back for availability after a couple days there and re-book where they would honor our current rate. We even didn't mind changing rooms but when we went down the morning we were told to re-book for the additional days we needed, they had zero availability and we had to leave find a different hotel entirely. 🤦‍♀️ Appeared that they may have had a hockey team staying which filled them up. There is an abandoned building behind the hotel with homeless living there it appears. We were walking our daughters service dog at night out back where the hotel recommend (right beside the abandoned building with a few trees and brush in between) and our dog was very uncomfortable and leary and started being on guard (he normally is never uncomfortable like that). Then we seen people shuffling around in the building in the dark. Hopefully all harmless people, but of course you never know, so just be cautious. It's a shame they don't recommend walking service animals or pet accommodations up front (especially at night) due to this. Breakfast is advertised on Google on the surface as being complementary, but if you enter the webpage it will tell you it's an available buffet. It costs $18 per person at the time I'm writing this post. So we opted to just go to a restaurant instead. So beware that the Google description is incorrect on the surface and breakfast is NOT included. Quite a shame since we previously stayed in a beautiful hotel on our way out here (a Holiday Inn Express)in Fremont, Ohio that cost less and included a delicious breakfast that was even more nice than this one. Seems odd that a Holiday Inn Express would be better than a Hilton but it definitely was. Overall I would definitely recommend as a decent and clean hotel close to the university (UNH) with a reasonable price but you do lose out on the amenities a bit.
