First of all, don’t get fooled by the scenic photo in the google page. It is another beach at Santa Cruz,CA that is having the same name. You will see the same photo for this CT beach too. However, we visited here on 3rd week of July and to our surprise, we had some add on funs like the street festival and a spectacular firework that We came to know after reaching the place only. Now coming to the beach, it is a pretty small, white-sand beach, but was crowded due to street fair. The beach and water is much cleaner than the adjacent Rocky Neck beach. On a sunny day- you will definitely enjoy there. Due to crowd, we parked in the nearby church parking lot. But there is enough parking space very near to the beach.

Lovely little beach! Great for kids. Softest sand I have ever seen. Low waves, very close to the parking lot so you can easily take whatever you need with little shlep. The other people at the beach the day we went were all lovely. Highly recommend

Nice, but small beach with free parking (limited), nice board walk along water, walking paths, and a grassy park area with park benches, and clean, Sandy beaches. Fishing avail on rocky point and clean bathrooms and water rinse off area to remove sand and salt water.

While the beach was pretty small, it was also so very clean and still very beautiful. It had a perfect amount of shells and soft white sand. I guess it was everything we needed for the moment - as it is only 40° outside, and we are all itching for that warmer beach weather! ⛱️

Super fun little beach just big enough to play on, find seashells, and splash in the water! Lovely path for walking and a nice grassy area for picnics or sitting on the benches to look at the water.

Plenty of parking, smallish beach, but the boardwalk east and the raised peninsula overlooking the water to the west give plenty of room to enjoy the sea air and sea view.

Plenty of nearby food options if you're hungry before or after the beach

It's one of the best beaches ⛱️ in Connecticut!!
The beach has a beautiful long boardwalk, a small cliff (from the you can watch a nice sunset, and long island, NY), picnic area, jogging track, sitting area, playground, restrooms, and dog friendliness.
A must visit place!!
