I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn in Dubuque, Iowa, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The room was fantastic—spacious, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for.

The front desk team truly went above and beyond, greeting me with warm smiles and providing exceptional service throughout my stay. They were always ready to assist with any questions or requests, making me feel right at home.

The housekeeping staff also deserves a shout-out for their attention to detail and thoroughness. The hotel was impeccably maintained, which added to the overall comfort of my stay.

One of the highlights was definitely the restaurant. I had complimentary breakfast coupons for my entire stay, and I was blown away by the quality of the food! I had previously stayed here for business trips but had never dined at the hotel. This time, I enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, and each meal was delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, my experience at the Holiday Inn in Dubuque was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I can't wait to return!

We have stayed at this property many times in the last 10 years. It has certainly become one of our favorite IHG properties. Our room was clean and large, the breakfast at the motel restaurant was fantastic as was the dinner meal the night before. Lastly, the staff was fantastic. Having a shuttle available to take us to a trade show and later pick us up was just great! Can't wait to come back!

Staff was very welcoming and attentive. I appreciate when there is always someone at the front desk. It was a very snowy evening, so the sheltered parking was a great asset. We utilized the shuttle to go to a show at one of the casinos. Shuttle was prompt. Great location right downtown - very close to many restaurants and venues. We would stay here again.

The hotel is in a good location to quickly get on an off the highway. There is a Hyvee close by, ample fueling stations and restaurants in the area. The room was good and the pool was heated with a gym area. The room had storage areas for clothes, a good TV, and good charging locations for devices. The staff was friendly and helpful checking in/out and sharing some good eating locations in the area. Thanks for another great stay.

We loved everything about this hotel. We did wish there was a hot tub though. Everything was very clean. The lobby is spacious and beautiful. The bar/restaurant is great. All of the staff are fantastic. We really enjoyed the shuttle!! It will take you anywhere and pick you up anywhere. That being said, there are many bars and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. We highly recommend and will stay here again. Just wish they had a bigger parking lot.

The staff and hotel were good at this location. But I will not be staying at this location in the future. No breakfast unless you purchase it from the attached restaurant. The pool was closed ( which wasn't a huge deal but was annoying). What exactly were the amenities? I am not sure. It was a place to stay for the night, but as a platinum elite member, I was very unimpressed. On top of all this we were asked to sign an extra agreement that children were not allowed to be without an adult and that complaints would warrant a $250 charge to our room. On what basis would this have been added? What if my kids stomped around? What if they ran down the hallway? Kids are kids sometimes...so what normally would be a relaxing night was more of a stressful one.

My husband and I come to Dubuque every year for the Holidazzle and to relax and enjoy the downtown area. We had the best stay at the Holiday Inn this year - it was fabulous!

The staff is incredible friendly and helpful, special shout-outs to Barb at the front desk for being so fun and welcoming, to Amber in the lounge/restaurant for taking awesome care of us all weekend and to Jeff, the patient shuttle driver, for giving us rides to dinner and back on such a dangerously cold night - this was an AWESOME perk!!! We were able to go out without any worries and be safely picked up and brought back to the hotel, super nice bonus!

Thank you Jeff, Barb and Amber, you guys rock and you made our weekend getaway really fun and relaxing!

In addition, the location is perfect! You can walk to so many great places to eat, drink and shop! And the Holiday Inn is a great place for families to gather, plenty of space to spread out, eat a pizza from the Shot Tower in the giant comfy lobby, the kids can swim in the pool, the lounge is handy to watch sports - this place has it all at a reasonable price and safe & close parking to boot! Perfect!

I have an overnight here every three weeks. It’s always a very good experience. Front desk always welcomes me by name, which I really appreciate. I’d like to give a shoutout to Melody in housekeeping. I left my headphones in my room. She found them, and held them until my next visit. The restaurant/bar is excellent.
