My wife and driven from Pennsylvania all day. I asked the receptionist if he could give us a quiet room so we could
get some rest. He did just that at Rm 502. A very quiet room away from the elevator. Room was really huge and was very nice. Good bathroom and clean. Nice comfortable bed and larger than our request. Comfortable temperatures and very good TV. All in all, nice place to stay.

The kid behind the counter Danny is extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. He worked wonders for me while I was stressed and being slightly difficult, and did a fantastic job with everything I asked him for. Kid deserves a promotion, raise, and whatever else IHG can provide him. And hopefully the fact that this review is coming from a Platinum Elite member that’s dealt with many IHG hotel staff members means something.

Very friendly and pleasant hotel - we stayed here while at a tournament at Mohegan Sun. The shuttle only runs after 4pm so that was problematic, and we drive an electric car that is not compatible with the Tesla chargers at Mohegan Sun so we needed to drive 10 miles away to get a decent charge (the Big Y has a level 2 charger for 2 hours).

Staff was very friendly and the burgers at the restaurant very good. Rooms were spotless. Water pressure good. Room was quiet in spite of multiple teenage basketball players rooming here for the tournament.

Not enough charging ports for electronics near bed.

I honestly can’t believe all the negative reviews for this hotel. I stayed last night for 1 night so I could go to the Ringo Starr concert and it was fine. |Overall I was quite pleased. My king bed was extremely comfortable. The room was clean and spacious but the bathroom was small. All of the staff I encountered were very pleasant. The shuttle to Mohegan Sun was very helpful and reliable.|I was disappointed that the pool area did not seem kept up. There were no towels and I had to go to the front desk to request them. They were 2 tiny, thin towels. There was trash on the tables in the pool area. However, the pool was pleasant and I had a nice swim.|I did eat breakfast in the dining room. I had french toast which was passable but not exciting. The staff there were pleasant.|Overall, for the price, the Holiday Inn got the job done. I would stay again. It is not fancy but it is far from the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. The other hotels in the area were crazy expensive because it was a Friday night near the casino but the Holiday Inn was reasonable in comparison.

When we arrived, the room reeked of cigarette smoke. We went right down to the lobby and were assisted with this right away; they were able to relocate us. The rooms do need an update. The walls are paper thin, we could hear the neighbors talking, and when their alarm clock went off at 6am, we could hear it too (and of course they kept having it go off every 5 minutes), so there wasn’t a lot of good quality sleep. It is great to have the free shuttle to Mohegan Sun, and the hotel restaurant and bar is super comfortable and affordable. Overall, a good place to stay, just needs some tlc.

The room was very comfortable. The shower was super powerful and tons of hot water. Bathroom was small but it did the trick. Bedroom was large and comfortable. Lobby needs updating, just a few new couches and it would look so much better.

Overall a pleasant experience, but a couple of issues.

1) I am in my late '70s, and fairly tall (6'2"). Given this, the shower head is too short, and you really need ADA compliant toilets. Old style are a long way down on aged knees,

Also, a broader dinner menu would be great. Basic apps and steak frites were about it.

I was well received and my room was ready. Clean airy and comfortable.it was a pleasure stating there. Front desk gave great advice when asked questions. The shuttle service was on time and great. If it was not einter could walk to the gtocery store.
