I can't recommend this place enough! I was greeted with warm hospitality & a level of service that truly exceeded my expectations. The property itself is stunning & offers a perfect blend of comfort & luxury. What really stood out was the incredible service from Hotel Manager Russ! He went above & beyond to ensure my stay was flawless. It's rare to encounter someone so dedicated to making guests feel truly valued. I'll definitely be returning on next IRB visit. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top tier hotel experience w/ outstanding service. Thank you again, Russ, for making my stay unforgettable!

This hotel is a big hotel in a nice location. It also was not busy at the time we stayed. We stayed in a room on the first floor, and our room was clean and bright, but after staying there for 5 days, we discovered several unpleasant things about it. Old wallpaper and peeling paint in bathroom. Water damaged doors. Old cheap cabinets throughout and some were damaged. There were no plastic cups. Just cheap throw aways. The tub was old with yucky permanent residue on it. The shower curtain was also extremely worn and didn’t fit the tub. The shutters were broken. I didn’t care for the first floor view of the courtyard. Right out front of our window, door was a 18 hole mini golf course that runs the length of the building.

Amenities fell short. None of the vending machines had sodas in them. The pool towels were cheap quality and were small like kid towels. We had to ask for the pools towels several times. Finally after a half hour they came with towels. When we tried using the onsite laundry room, there was no way to get change to operate the machines. I had to ask the gift shop for change. One would think a place offering this service would have a change machine.

The only good thing was their beds were very comfortable.

I would not return.

Loved staying here. The room was clean and spacious. The check-in clerk and our waitress at the restaurant were both so gracious and nice. Two different random hotel guys were very nice. One showed us where to go without us asking him (you can get turned around quick) and the other one offered to take our cart back downstairs. Had a great night sleeping. We'll be back!

This place was so wonderful in so many ways. Not only did we have a quiet, clean place, we had an amazing view right on the water. The sunrise over the water was spectacular!

The room we were given was spacious and inviting. We felt spoiled!

The staff from the front desk, housekeeping and the restaurant and bar were so friendly and helpful. My husband and I are already talking about planning our next visit to this hotel.

This hotel really has the Holiday spirit, so many decorations everywhere and music, really made a difference, room was beautiful with 2 floors and a huge balcony. Cal at the front desk was amazing and so knowledgeable and really made our stay great. Jimmy’s Iguanas restaurant is the best on the intercoastal with amazing breakfast and staff, TC,James and Lisa were all so great and made our stay extra special. Also love the gift shop and great prices for great quality t shirts, towels, shirts and tumblers. Such a relaxing time at this property, it truly feels like a resort experience. The courtyards are amazing, great marina views and putt putt golf. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and they have a wonderful pool with music and a conference center for business events, great place for business meeting or Holiday party. Cleaning staff are the best and so kind and helpful. If you want to stay at the beach, this is the place!!

The room was so musty & smelled really bad. All of the furniture and trim around the room is beat up. The bathroom cabinets are old & some wouldn’t close. The bed creaks.

We were excited about the big balcony, but it was old & we had smokers in the next room, which their balcony was beside ours. The pictures look like it’s on a marina, but instead there’s a few boats moored there. The restaurant was nice. Completely outside dining, & our food was good.

The guys in the office were nice & did a good job. I would not recommend this place. My sinuses are still messed up from the room.

We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Clearwater Beach S Harbourside! The location is perfect—just a short walk to all the restaurants and bars, making for an amazing nightlife experience. The pool is great, and the beach is only a couple of minutes away. While the rooms could use a bit of a modern touch, they are clean and well-maintained. Overall, a great spot for a fun and convenient beach getaway!

Where to start. First let me say I didn’t read any reviews of this hotel and I usually do before I book. That said once I decided to write a review, I went and read other reviews and surprise surprise surprise….many other people say how RUDE the front desk staff is.

I am the highest level member of IHG, Hilton and Marriott rewards, am a travel agent and we stay in lots of hotels all over the world. This is a the rudest front desk in my experience in the world. Yes that’s right, the worst I’ve experienced in the world. And they are willing to lie as well.

We checked in around 5pm, no issues but as a platinum member asked for an upgrade upon check in and were told no. No checking, no nothing, but that’s fine, funny I actually know now he probably could have but again as many others have indicated they don’t care how customers feel. It’s slash and burn, due to location they don’t care if you come back, which we won’t be.

Of course as many others have stated the rooms are shot. Old, ratty carpet, doors don’t close, 1980s look and feel. It’s bad but bearable. My wife said it was gross, it was manageable to me.

The straw that broke the camels back for me was our last day we asked early around 9am for a 2pm checkout, which as platinum elite we are entitled to. We were told no, hotel is totally sold out….which see my pictures below. This is a lie. They have at least 9 rooms available. My wife also worked for a short period as a housekeeper at a nice resort, so we know how housekeeping works. There’s literally no reason they couldn’t have agreed to a noon checkout but we were told no for that too. I was beside myself, we send tons of business to IHG every year, probably 6 figures worth of business. So I called our NSO (travel agents know what I’m talking about) and they called the hotel. The hotel refused to budge and said we had to be out by 11:15. We scrambled around to get out, and the hotel had a staff person outside our room to confirm we left by 11:15am. Like seriously guys. This is not how you create loyal customers. This is how you piss off the people giving you tons of business every year. As IHG told me this property is independently owned and operated. When they cost IHG enough business maybe they will drop them. In the meantime, I’d encourage you to think twice about this location and how they regularly treat people (read the other reviews, this is normal behavior for them).
