I was in Oakland for my son's wedding. The check-in process was seamless and easy. The staff were professional and accommodating. The gated parking lot was extremely important. The best part of our stay was the restaurant - food was delicious, wait staff was super pleasant, and I recommended my family to come to the hotel just to enjoy the restaurant. I gave it a 4/5 because the facilities need an upgrade. The carpet in the hotel room and hallway was dirty and should be replaced.

Had a day to spend after dropping my car off so I picked this place. Very happy with my choice.

Needed to check in early and Shane was extremely helpful and got me a room with no waiting. Made my day.

Next needed to have lunch so went to the restaurant. Great service and the food was good with big portions. Was able to take half back to the room. Made use of the refrigerator and later the microwave.

Also it was a hot day so I made use of the pool. It was a great time.

I wouldn't go walking outside of the property but very much enjoyed my day there. Highly recommended if you need to be near the airport.

We stayed here during our SFO trip and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, beautifully maintained, and comfortable. The bathroom was well-kept, and the bed was very cozy. There was even a chair to sit and relax, adding to the comfort. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Great, nice, clean hotel. It has a bar and diner which serves excellent American food and beer. Rooms are good. I had to shift room due to the AC breakdown which was a little inconvenient in the middle of the night. Also on the next night we had a fire alarm that went off around mid night. The hotel is in Oakland so good for those who have flights from Oakland airport. But was not convenient for me as its quite a drive from SFO with traffic.

They do NOT have airport shuttle. It's 10$ to use. Can't book in advance and when you want to book it, their solo driver is on lunch.... this would be acceptable if they did not advertise that they have airport shuttle. A more accurate description would be an "on call, for fee driver" ... these are very different services and should be advertised as such...

I would NOT recommend this hotel for events. Staff is extremely unprofessional, none of the equipment worked. I went in the day before and May, the Events Manager assured me everything was working properly. During the event the next day, it was a technical difficult nightmare. First the projectors didn't work, then the sound didn't work and then there were cords everywhere because they had to bring our a portable projector and screen rather than the mounted projectors and screens reserved for a smooth event. This is the second year in a row with issues at this hotel. I paid in full the day before, then they brought me an additional $962 bill telling me that I technically still uses the projectors. We started our event 40 minutes late with the first presentation not even being able to be played properly. There was not even an apology. Stay CLEAR from doing event at this hotel. They are not prepared to handle more than a business meeting at best.

It’s in a very unsafe area. The staff overall was great, but one specific bartender created an unnecessary altercation among guests in the bar. She should have been controlled, and the manager took her side
