Home Plate is such an amazing company to work with! They are incredibly accommodating and the food is amazing for such an affordable price! We received SO many complements on food at our wedding.
The only thing that I would recommend would be to make sure that both counts for number of people fed be completed prior to telling the couple the number. It's such a small detail but would be so, so helpful to have both done before telling the couple 🙂
Overall, everything else was absolutely fantastic and the company was such a joy to work with!!!

We hired homeplate for our wedding reception of around 265 guests. Working with them prior to the event was easy and very helpful picking our meal (it’s best to call and talk with them) during the event they were working very hard and made sure everything was perfect.

They are very affordable and we had many comments about how good the food was! We had the broasted pork chops (guest favorite), roast beef, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole, lettuce salad, and macaroni salad.

We highly recommend!

I got married in October. I used Home Plate for my food. The food was great but the lady I dealt with was not. She was not very easy to work with and when food is really important in any event, I wished it would have gone a little better. I asked them to have servers or someone to go around and pick up plates so my family didn't have to, they never did that. I even gave them a $100 tip because I thought they were going to take care of the plates. They told us to bring LOTS of tupperware for the left over food because they always have left overs. I told them 10 extra guests than what I counted in case extra people showed up that didn't RSVP. I had 10+ guests not show up, so you I would have plenty of leftovers. Instead all they did was take the pork that was left over and put it in a back room. It wasn't covered or anything. They didn't ask for the tupperware containers. I should have had a lot more leftovers than just pork yet I never received the food we paid for. I paid extra money to be taken care of so I wouldn't have to worry. The experience I had was far from ideal. There was a huge lack of communication from this company. Best of luck with them!!

Home Plate catering gave us the customer service that people dream about when booking a wedding. We had a blizzard warning the week preceding our wedding. We were extremely nervous is any of our hired vendors would make it on the day of, and the wedding was going to happen no matter what. Home Plate and their crew took control of the situation by bringing all their supplies, people and equipment a day in advance and stayed the night at a Hotel in our town. This was so reassuring for us and our family. The food turned out absolutely amazing and we had such a great turnout of guest. Thanks again to Home Plate and their team for the hard work and dedication to customer service.
