This is far the worst Hilton I’ve stayed, I booked the hotel foremost because we are Hilton Honors members and have stayed in Hilton all the over world places like caribe hilton San Juan, We’re here for two weeks total, no weekends. Since we are staying for 5 days together we are to get get every alternate days for cleaning and One day would be full service. Since we are traveling with our 7 month baby, we requested to get at least the alternate days to get it clean but only cursory vacuuming was done. When the day for full service arrived, no one came until 2pm, my mother in law called while we were on training and we called the host several times and no one came and when we came back finishing our shift we called the front desk and were informed that someone will come to clean room and while we entered the room to change our clothes from the shift someone knocked and said we need to leave and while we were in the process to leave, cleaning staff “Yelled at me saying: Leave now” so I replied you had the whole day to clean the room and she started staring at me. Once I came back to my room nothing was done absolutely. So I called the front desk and the assistant GM was gracious enough to clean the room, whole experience is unprofessional and unacceptable. During our stay we were getting down in the elevator one guests two dogs literally jumped on my mother in law and she screamed and the guest said why is she screaming, while my 7 month baby was with me and I’m glad that those 2 dogs didn’t jump on me. It was very scary and it’s just the matter of time before someone get hurt.
Today is our second week and we arrived for our second week stay and are waiting on our rooms to get clean and the cleaning staff is again arguing after she didn’t clean the room, I seriously think the cleaning staff needs to be given thorough training or fired all together.
We drove from Tennessee for 5 hours with our 7 month baby and are still waiting past 1 hour for our rooms
to be clean is highly unacceptable and the cleaning staff is arguing with the front desk for not doing her job. For our second week stay I have taken all the pictures to show that the freezer had hair, fridge wasn’t clean properly and the drawer with all the food waste on those kitchen utensils filthy and gross and the dishwasher was full of dishes.
Update:
The housekeeping is still not upto par. I asked them to change the sheets after two days and they begrudgingly did so. I was then supposed to have a full clean service on the fifth day. All they did was change out the trash stating that our stuff was on the beds so they could not change sheets. The beds had their pillows on them! When I told the AGM this, she said that they had bent over backwards to accommodate us and maybe this was not the hotel for us and we could leave.
So asking for a clean room and clean sheets is too much to ask for now. Never have I had someone in the hotel speak like this, are we sure this is a Hilton standard hotel?
Pet hair everywhere, dogs walking around without a leash, sometimes jumping on other guest, dirty rooms, dirty laundry… this is what awaits you at your next visit at this hotel. You might not want to stay here at your next visit.
