Service, the location of the home we rented, amenities in the rental home, neighborhood and what not! This was the best place to stay, visit and explore! Carol and Annika were fantastic from the first call I made with a question about the home we eventually rented. During the process of booking, during our stay there and even at the check out (after they made their money :-)); the team homestead was just fabulous and amazing to deal with. I would strongly recommend that check them before you check a hotel or any other rental services. The choices of the homes they offer for rentals are very wide and you would definitely find that fits your budget and schedule. They even offer payment plans if you want to book in advance and pay them in installments. One of the BEST people, BEST place and BEST vacation my family enjoyed. The house was cleaned by them according to Covid-19 guidelines and they even had two big bottles of sanitizers in the house when we walked in. Give them a try and you will not regret. A great selection of rental properties. I found this agency on a web site about birding at Cape May and decided to check it out. Helpful staff on phone. Very positive experience with renting a pet friendly property recently. The property I rented was clean and inviting. Owners provided throws for covering furniture. My pets loved it. Surrounded by trees, yet the home was sunny inside because of all the windows. A short distance to bay, beach, Lake Lilly, close to Cape May City and more. Had a great time. Hope to come back soon!

309 Franklin St. is a beautiful home!! It’s spacious and plenty of room for our family of 13. The front porch was probably everyone’s favorite place to be. The location was peaceful yet the perfect distance from the beach and Washington Square Mall. We love it and Cape May. We would definitely stay here again!!

House is wonderful. Location is perfect. It can be a little noisy sometimes because there are restaurants across the street getting deliveries every now and then but it’s really fine. We’ve stayed at tons of different houses over the last 20 years and this is def a fave!

1051 Idaho. Best home we've stayed at here in Cape May in 25 years! Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen, beautiful yard, convenient to everything. Loved the pool table and backyard deck. Can't say enough!

Wow horrible. I've been a loyal client of this company for years, renting for my and my daughter's vacation.This year has been a disaster. Rented a unit at the Baronet for the 1st time. Unit 1-D. Well, I have an 11-yr-old (which means ipad 24/7) and I have an online job that I do even on vacation. So imagine when I go this past Saturday to pick up my unit's keys. They hand me the bag and the attached tag is this: THIS UNIT HAS NO WIFI. The agent Erica that was in the office was surprised; she went to the call the owner of the unit and in fact verified there was no wifi. Well, I was upset. Can't work and my daughter can't use her ipad. Obviously we're spending most of our time outdoors. But she's only 11. In the evening we're in the unit with our devices. No internet. No public access, whatsoever. No free internet to sneak onto here. Also, my personal hotspot? Works intermittently, have to keep signing back on, and for some reason won't allow me on numerous websites, and of course, not my work website. Oh and regular cellular data isn't working, so I have to put on roaming. But I digress. Erica was a sweetheart; she could see how this was going to be an issue for me, as she has a preteen as well, and knows how hard it is to keep kids entertained without their devices. She called me back twice on Saturday night and said that there was nothing she could do right away, but to please text the office and let them know what dollar amount I thought would be suitable to compensate me for what was going to be a not great stay. I thought about it and responded with "How about $200. That's about $30 a day." Long story short, a VERY rude and unpleasant woman who apparently is the manager called me today (Monday). She said that the owner/broker of Homestead would be okay with giving me a $200 credit towards a vacation rental next year. HUH? Next year. Yes, she says, they're very aware of how much a problem no wifi is, they've called the unit owner and informed her that going forward that she needs to have wifi available for tenants. The plan is to have wifi hopefully next week for future tenants. Okay, so great for future tenants. (Oh and as an aside, Erica told me that this unit IS THE ONLY UNIT they rent that doesn't have wifi and that if the owner doesn't agree to get wifi, that they're going to drop her as a client.) So yes, the rude manager ANNIKA says to me, that the future year 2025 $200 is a very generous offer. And that although nothing else can be done, "MY APPROACH" (mine) because I'm getting upset, is part of the problem. Today, Monday, my daughter and I spent 5 hours at the public library so I could keep my laptop charged and get my work done on their free wifi. There will be no wifi in this unit this week and if I need to get more work done, I can go back to the library. But it's MY APPROACH trying to talk to this woman Annika, because even though if I sounded super happy and pleased, they're still not going to do anything for me. But potentially all future tenants in this unit will have wifi, so I should be very pleased about that, according to Annika. Needless to say, I will never rent from Homestead again. This is the most unprofessional real estate company I have ever worked with. The "owner/broker" Dagmer Chew would most likely not feel the bite of a $200 payday for me lol (that is, after I pay for gas and roaming charges). But that's what this horrible business owner thinks is good customer service for a repeat client. Oh and this woman Annika, who thinks yelling at and patronizing a customer on the phone is the best way to handle an upset customer. Of course I started off as polite as can be on Saturday. And then again on our phone call this morning. But when the manager is congratulating themselves on taking care of someone else's future problem instead of the client that is on the phone with them, and who is patiently trying to get a good and fair resolve for themselves, well, I don't know what to say. Horrible.

We loved dealing with Homestead Real Estate! The check in was quick and easy and we even received a gift bag from Homestead. When we reached the condo we rented our linen package was waiting for us along we a clean place to call home for the week. When we ran into a small plumbing issue on Sunday, they quickly fixed it. After many years working with one realty company for our summer rentals, we were a little nervous when they merged with Homestead. After working with them however, we quickly realized we needn't have been concerned.

Everyone at Homestead was absolutely terrific. They even have an online guest book which answers most questions. Overall, a great experience working with them.
