We enjoyed our stay at Homewood Suites. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, quiet, and we liked the layout. Breakfast was good, especially the grits!

I’m not a huge fan of valet parking, but the staff did a good job. The location was perfect for our events at the Classic Center and walking to downtown Athens and the campus. We will definitely return to this location.

Stayed here two weeks. The rooms were filthy. I pulled the spread back on bed, long strands of hair all over the bed. There was an awful smell everyday in the room. Front desk staff, not welcoming, and they dont even greet you.

The best part of the stay was the kitchen staff. They were so pleasant and friendly. They made you feel at home. I give the kitchen staff 5 stars. The front desk staff needs more customer service training.

Went in here for one night, the location of the hotel is close to many things in downtown Athens. The suite we paid for was said to accommodate 4 people, but the sofa bed was smaller than I have seen in other places, 2 average size adults will struggle to fit in without having body contact. We beddings for the sofa bed was missing we had to call and wait for that to be delivered. The breakfast could definitely be better. Nonetheless, the hotel served it's purpose.

Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pot and pans were a little worn, but still usable. There was a bit of a hiccup a few times with the valet parking when scanning the QR code. However, there weren’t many guests so we didn’t have to wait too long for our vehicle. The breakfast was nice and hot with a variety of foods. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will likely stay again when/if in the area.

That's enough for me to give 1 star. Unacceptable service requirement.

If you like that, enjoy. I do not.

Elevators also require a key card to access.

No other issues to note. The parking was simply a deal breaker for me. I parked elsewhere.

We had a very enjoyable one-night stay here in downtown Athens!
Clean rooms, comfortable bed, quiet stay. We always like the free breakfast, but this one was a step above what we normally experience. Fresh juices, fresh fruits, etc. Very nice!
Love the setup of the suites, too.
Great place to stay!

The room we had was two queen beds and very spacious . Full refrigerator and separate room for tv with sofa. The king room my brother in law had on the fourth floor was smaller. The only thing was being on the 2nd floor we could hear people walking above us which bothers me but might not someone else.

This stay fell far below my expectations of a Hilton Homewood Suites property. ||The room rate was exorbitant (price gouging at its finest!). I am a Lifetime Hhonors Diamond member, but there was no recognition of this during the stay. I wasn't even allowed to have a complementary bottle of water at check-in. I asked the night of my stay and again the next morning for my check out to be extended until 1:00 pm (just 2 hours). Both times, I was told 'no' in no uncertain terms. The front desk staff was rude and unprofessional. The morning staff member told me I needed to get there earlier that morning. I expaling that I had asked the previous evening. It didn't matter, as no one had made a note of my request. They bluntly said that everyone was a HHonors member, and my status didn't matter. I asked to speak to the onsite manager and was told that person never arrived until after 9:00. ||In addition, our room had no hot water - at all. This is unacceptable for a room at this rate. The breakfast was substandard. Someone removed the waffle griddle with no explanation. Pulled pork was offered as the breakfast protein. Who eats barbecue for breakfast? No one was willing to help us locate a luggage card, despite seeing our struggles with our 24-month old grandson.||I have stayed hundreds of nights at Hilton properties over the years, but never experienced such poor servce.
