The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was much bigger than I expected and affordable compared to the rest in the area. Rooms were a little outdated, with some wear, but that didn't really bother us. I also enjoyed the vibrant color accents. I think we had the King Suite. Pull out couch, separate bedroom from living room, the biggest fridge and freezer I have seen in a hotel suite. Stocked with basics for a long stay and even a dishwasher.

Explained to the hotel that my partner works night shift and they allowed us a late check out. They weren't very busy, so that was likely why. I do find that it's not possible everywhere, but that was the latest check out time we have ever received. Hotel and hot tub were nice and spacious. We did pick a crowded time for that part, but we are patient and understanding.

Reasonably close (within 20 minutes) from downtown and most other spots of interest in Cleveland. Complimentary breakfast buffet, but no evening restaurant, however they offer coupon codes for free grub hub deliveries. (Not including tip of course)

I would go back and I would recommend. Also free parking is always a plus!

I have traveled all around the world and never encountered a more welcoming hotel than the Beachwood Homewood Suites. Yes, it's comfortable and clean and I like the bedding, but it's the people there who make this an unusually nice place to stay. Everyone who works there is so nice, warm and accommodating. I really couldn't ask for more in a hotel. I've stayed in several other hotels in Beachwood, too - this is by far the best in terms of price point and comfort. Highly recommend.

My family stayed here three nights for a long weekend trip in a two room suite. The rooms and hotel decor and cleanliness were very good for this price point / hotel level. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Especially the breakfast staff. The breakfast was on the better end of Hilton free breakfast with all the standards and fresh cut fruit, yogurt bar, and make your own breakfast burritos available each day in addition to the standard waffle bar, oatmeal, rotating meat and egg option etc. the woman helping there was very gracious with my handicap mother and helping her when we weren’t nearby.

Pool and workout room were standard, kept clean and not super busy.

I came to this area with my son who was having surgery nearby, and my daughter. The suites are small but serviceable and basically had what we needed. However, there are super loud guests here- screaming and hollering- it is 12:17am and this is ridiculous. I took my daughter to the pool this evening and it was a nightmare! About 100 people there, half of them children not being controlled in any way, and the adults were drinking, the elevators smelled like smoke (both cigarette and marijuana) on our way down there. It was like a huge family reunion in a hotel. There is zero respect for the other guests here and the staff does nothing to control it. As decent as our stay was earlier in the week, we will never return here due to the weekend chaos. The rooms are nowhere near sound-proof, and there is no such thing as sleeping in peace, even during the week. There is always at least one set of guests ruining it, nightly- slamming hotel doors at all hours and yelling in the hallway. We will be so glad to leave on Monday!!! It’s a shame too- the staff has been very friendly.

Traveled here for a weekend get away. Upon arrival lobby is clean and welcoming. I'm pretty sure our bed is a queen and not a king that we booked. I was also pretty shocked room didn't come with a bath tub, just a stand up shower. But that could have been my mistake on not catching that when reserving the room. The bed and pillows are AWFUL. The bed is super firm (perk if you like a firm bed i guess) and the pillows are down feather, but go flat super quick. Plus side bed is bed bug free. The vanity is pretty big, and lighting is phenomenal. The door actually brushes the toliet seat when you close the door, and the tile can become slick really quick post shower. The TV to bed setup.... is interesting. Tv is mounted to the dresser, but swivels to the couch side or bed side. However tv is stopped by the wall and the curtains prevent 1 full view of the TV for 1 person in bed. Just a poor setup. Also I did notice the floors only have ice machines, no water fountains. I do want to add that Saturday night the hallways were very noisy with guests after 11:30pm. And Sunday morning the housekeeper knocked 2x then barged into the room before our checkout. Very displeased with that, as it felt violating. Would we come back to this hotel.... most likely not, I just have super high expectations and I'm pretty picky.

I was just in town for a two day concert and stayed here with friends. Even with a broken elevator, I had an excellent stay! Highlights:

Absolutely perfect experience. Very clean, up to date, large selection on breakfast bar. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff and a great, easy to access location. We were traveling with a 16’ pole vault bag and they allowed us to store it in the conference room overnight.

I was underwhelmed with this hotel - the front desk staff are nice, but housekeeping is inconsistent - some days my towels were changed but the bed was untouched, I also left an empty Kleenex box upside down on the sink so they would know to change it, and no one did, I had to ask at the front desk for a new box after 2 days. ||I arrived tired from a long day or travel and wanted to take advantage of the convenient electronic key Hiltons provide to go right to my room. Instead I got a message that says "please stop by the front desk, we need to confirm a few details about your stay" which is actully an outright lie - its because this location chooses to collect a incidentals deposit that makes Hilton's massive global investment in digital keys worthless (at least have some integrity to tell guests the real reason). ||The hotel has a nice pool and hot tub, but a lot of families stay there and it was often overrun with uncontrolled kids. Also on a few mornings the door was locked or there were no towels. ||The hotel provides a free breakfast but the food is pretty average, if you stay at enough hotels you can tell when they are going cheap. Also the buffet was poorly maintained - it is open until 9:30, but on several days it was picked over and out of everything shortly after 9:00. If you say you are open until 9:30, someone who shows up at 9:15 should get the same experience as someone who shows up at 8:00. ||But for me the most annoying thing with this hotel is that there is only one elevator near the main entrance, and most mornings it was as much as a 5 minute wait to get the elevator, especially when guests are leaving breakfast and all the housekeepers are moving their carts around. There is one other elevator all the way at the end of the hotel, but its not much good to people near the main part. And unfortunately, the main elevator broke when i was there and was out of order for several days - that is inexcusable property management given the shortage of elevators, the hotel should have had it fixed the same day. ||There is nothing huge wrong with this hotel, but there are a lot of hotels just a few minutes away at comparable prices where you don't need to put up with this elevator nonsense every morning. This issue is well-known to the staff, as many of them told people to walk the length of the hotel to get the other lift when a lot were waiting. I don't know what the answer is as I can't imagine the hotel would invest in another elevator, maybe make it a policy that housekeepers can only use the far elevator so the more convenient one is available for guests? I think there are better places ot stay in Beachwood and would not come back.
