This motel was very clean and comfortable! The room was cute and the bathroom was also very nice. It was a great value stay at around $50ish. Check in was over the phone, which was easy but could have been better explained upon booking. The only reason I’m giving this motel 4 stars instead of 5 was that the air conditioning filter needed to be cleaned or replaced. I’m including a photo of the unit, which indicates the same thing. I have bad allergies and was very congested in the room because of this. Other than that, the stay was great!

Clean and cozy! The rooms are on the smaller side but that wasn’t an issue. I’ll take cleanliness over a large room! Plenty of parking. Cute fire pit area & tables. Hotel check-in is over the phone which I enjoyed. Loved the minimalistic vibes! Will stay again, thank you!

I did a reservation using Expedia like 1 month ago and when trying to check in they told me that they didn’t have any reservation with my name. So I wasted two hours by phone to solve the issue and finally the Expedia agent talk with the hotel and they magically found the reservation

I mean, maybe the person did not get my name or whatever but the service provided by the hotel was awful and for that reason I lost a lot of time

Great little motel with an AirBnB feel. Very modern rooms, very clean and European standard (including the bedskirts which I loved, but which some Americans may not know). I loved the coffeemaker in my room! Check-in was easy and the host was very accommodating and quick to respond when I did not receive an email with my room# and code on my phone (I saw it on my computer though after I got into my room). They sent it to me per txt and everything was great. Can highly recommend and will definitely use again when I am in the area.

A cute updated motor hotel, I'm giving 5 stars because it met those expectations, not because it compares to the Four Seasons. Cute room, very comfortable and not cramped. Recently redone it appears- was a great, inexpensive, option for a 1-2 day SYV wine country visit. liked the glass front mini fridge so you don't forget to take your stuff! Check-in is remote with no staff on site, but available via text- that may take some getting used to but really works fine. Lots of outdoor entertainment amenities- was too cold to use them in January but would be fun in the summer!

We stayed at the Hotel Hygge last July 2023. The check-in process was a little bit frustrating. We knocked on the front door of the office and no one was there. We were not aware that the check-in was fully online. there was no sign outside stating that the office was closed or that we needed to check in online so some signage would be appreciated. But once we got a hold of someone, we were able to get our room information and check-in. we later encountered other travelers from another country, who were also quite confused, so we helped them out as well. This should be a no-brainer. Other than that the room was very clean, well decorated and nice, it also had nice quality shampoo and conditioner. We only stayed there for one night and it was just what we needed. One disappointment was they said you could go to their sister hotel which is about five minutes or less down the road and use their pool. The pool was closed. You would think that they could communicate with each other and just give us a heads-up that the pool is not available since it's advertised. the other location had a nice bar where you could get a drink and some food. It was a really cute location. I would see if that location is available to stay if we ever go back. the hotel Hygge was in a great location. Just a short drive to the main solving downtown area. That's really what was most important to us. They had a nice outdoor area with fire pits and corn hole. We enjoyed having some desserts by the fire in the evening, you have to turn it on manually when you're ready to use it. Another complaint is that it's not super apparent how to get ice or how to turn on the fire pits. If you want to be a hands-off management property, then you need to have appropriate signage to help people know exactly where to go.

I absolutely Loved this hotel. This hotel has spacious parking so your guaranteed to park in front of your room which is awesome. I love how all you need is a # code to get into your room and not having to go to the front desk to check in. The shower had good water pressure and nice hot water. They even provide you with water, coffee, and a game to play which of course we tried out. The fridge was a Huge plus! The walls are paper thin however we had no one on either side. I absolutely loved the night speaker for sound waves etc. The bed was super soft and I loved the big rug. Also they leave you a breakfast goodie bag which was super nice! Driving distance was close to everything you need and want. Would love to definitely come back?

We had a great experience! We were hesitant to book here with the not great reviews but we gave it a shot and had a really nice time! Room was pristine, bed was extremely comfy, property well maintained and quiet, easy parking, and nice check in system. We preferred being able to just get the code and walk in rather than waiting for traditional check in. We stay here again and recommend to others!
