The entire experience was incredible for my family and me. The hovercraft itself is an impressive machine, moving smoothly over water and onto land. The driver and guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We saw amazing views of the strait near Ketchikan, and landed on Black Sands Beach, where we saw some of the most diverse plant life (bulb kelp, popper kelp) and wildlife (bald eagles, falcons, starfish, moon snails) we’ve ever seen. Highly recommend.

The only downside was a long wait in Ketchikan caused by our cruise line. I recommend booking directly with the Hovercraft company.

Wonderful unique experience 5 star. We saw seals Eagles upclose it was amazing and of course we got the ride in that unique yellow hovercraft. Very enjoyable and great experience. Ben and Avery were fun, energetic, and full of knowledge and stories are everything we saw. Our family will do this again on our next trip.

Ignore that 1 star review on here because I can say it's not true. We sat in the back if the boat and saw everything! Including a bald eagle catching a fish right next to us!(see attached photo)

This is the absolute coolest tourist thing you can do in Ketchikan. You will likely not have an opportunity like this anywhere else to ride on hovercraft and enjoy this beautiful scenery. Greg and Madi were awesome hosts and happily answered our many questions. I would rate this as the best thing to do in town by far. The smoothest ride on land and water with on-water drifting! Thank you so much!

Excellent tour! They took us around the bay, on and off land, to a beach to see eagles and feed them as well as explore. Took us to see seals on an island, explained local items and scenery! One of the highlights of our cruise!

Great tour. We did this last week. Loved the Hoover Kraft and got to see eagles and seals. Since short time in port this excursion left us time to explore creek street and the salmon run. I would highly recommend!

Exciting way to see wildlife in Ketchikan! The hovercraft is fast, doesn’t disturb underwater life, and makes surprisingly little sound. Intimate group of 10 guests with a pilot and narrator/naturalist. Free snacks on board are a nice touch. We saw lots of eagles and stopped at a black sand beach. The tour lasts a quick 90 minutes, so there is plenty of time to do see Ketchikan afterward. My only suggestion would be to go by Saxman native village on the tour. Highest recommendation!

Matt was our captain and Conner first mate/ naturalist were very informative!! We spent an hour and a half on the hover craft and the ride was so smooth!!
We saw several Bald Eagles, a small and a whale!
