I read all the reviews before staying here, they were not the greatest of reviews but I took my chances and I am thankful I did! You can definitely tell they are working on remodeling each room. I am sorry for the others who stayed before me who had to experience loud music and parties throughout the night! Fortunately thank you to all your reviews and management taking action the parties have stopped and they are working on making this hotel a nice establishment for those who need to rest their heads! The breakfast was delicious and they had lots to offer! They could definitely use some better and thicker black out curtains for the rooms but again they are working hard on making the changes to ensure guests are comfortable! I can imagine by winter time this will be the perfect hotel to stay at for skiers and snow borders or even for those who are traveling through! Management was wonderful and kind! Really the only complaint I have is the cable and TV channels. They do not come in clear and there are not many channels. Hopefully management plans to start a contract with direct TV or something so we can relax in the room and enjoy a movie or show!

The rooms were clean and made up nice. The staff were so pleasant. Both the front desk and breakfast staff...very pleasant.
Breakfast staff kept up w food being eaten quickly. Perfect stop for an overnight stay .
The manager (owner) was attentive and made suggestions for dinner.
Over all. Great experience

Just got the room for one night, but was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean. Yes bathroom was small but very usable. Breakfast was excellent. Eggs, bacon, sausage, and fried potatoes. If you need a room for a night or two, this place is a good choice.

So, my family and I went camping and got rained out. We drove to Springerville, AZ a Howard Johnson's that we've stayed at before. It has been remodeled since our last stay, very nice fresh look. The staff is fantastic the GM helped us get checked into tow rooms. I very much appreciate all their kindness. See y'all soon...

Good not great.. Rooms are good size, Carpet is old needs replaced, Hot water is excellent great water pressure. Breakfast is really good better than average hotel Breakfast. Service is good.
Honestly this really is the best place for Eager / Springerville.

DISGUSTING. I would sleep in your car before I would stay here.

My list of hotel issues for the Springerville Howard Johnson by Wyndam:

- Shower not cleaned. Dirty wash rag on faucet. Used soap, shampoo and conditioner tube's in the tub. Someone's black hairs in the tub. (They came in and cleaned it after I complained. )

- Fecal matter smeared on toilet seat.

- Toilet wouldn't flush properly, had to do it about 20 times.

- When next door Toilet was used, mine would gurgle and sound like it was going to overflow.

- Easily could hear noise from adjoining rooms.

- Overall filthy room.
- Bed was lumpy.

- Loud Mexican music playing from multiple rooms with open doors.

- Breakfast cereal was stale and inedible.

- There was only 1 single kleenex in box.

- Had to pin curtains together so people could not see in.

- Clock not set.

- When checking out early the desk person could have cared less about my complaints. No apologies.

The service was great and staff was very friendly. The room was clean although the carpet in the king suite was filthy. There was no hot water for about 2 hours in the morning. It was labor day weekend and the motel was booked so I can see why they ran out of hot water. The motel is lacking general maintenance and could use some updating. The breakfast was very good which made up for some of the short comings.

Not recommend!
We are on our summer vacation. We arrived st the hotel about 5:00 pm. The rate was reasonable so we checked in. The bed is comfy, seems clean, bathroom dated but okay. We went to dinner then came back and unpacked.
The people upstairs are playing loud music and stomping around. I was thinking they quite down after dark. That didn't happen. At 9:00 pm I called the front desk asked them to tell the people to turn it down. They said okay. Now it's 11:10 pm and the music is still blasting. There are workers staying here. They in the parking lot talking and drinking. Guest on the balcony doing the same. Guest with their doors open, guest hanging around out outside. I called the front desk again. I asked them does this happen every night? Did they knew about all this activity when we rented the room?
We are going to try and sleep a little while and get the hell outta here.
Oh, great! Now the toilet is leaking.
