The staff are efficient and polite during check-in and check-out. The photos of the room during booking were really nice, we loved the spaciousness of the room when we got there and the colors. The jacuzzi was a great feature but unfortunately, we did not use it due to dirt in the bathtub, it wasn't properly cleaned and we did not feel comfortable using it. My son's bed had a spider at night and I ended up getting a bite on my shoulder while I slept. The balcony was great. The hotel rooms need a coat of paint and ice machines that work. I probably would not come return due to the daily price and the cleanliness. There are a lot of places to eat nearby.

My room was wonderful, the one staff I met efficient and friendly. The halls and stairs were not nice and the 2nd door leading to the upstairs did not have a lock- the workings were not even there, just a hole. The first door, nearest the office did work and needed a key card to enter but with the other broken...My room however was clean, the bed comfortable and the balcony lovely for air. My balcony door lock was also broken but an extra metal sliding lock was attached and I used that so I felt safe as my room door had a dead bolt and flip lock to block door from opening. Location of hotel excellent for travel about Mystic.

Worst motel experience I have ever had in my entire life! The only good thing about it is the location, if I could give it negative star ratings on rooms and service I would. I stayed there for 2 nights during a trip in early November, The first night was ok. However on the second night a very noisy young couple checked into room 223 next door to me. That's when I learned the walls were paper thin. I tried to go to sleep around 10:30 pm and could not. It was like a radio was blasting right next to my ear. It sounded more like a radio to me, but the front desk lady said it was there TV, which would have been on the opposite wall so if that was really the case the walls are super super paper thin. This went on all night, I called the front desk 3 times. She claimed to have gone to their room to ask them to be quiet but I never heard her. Eventually at 4:00 am I went over there myself and their room door was not even closed, a guy came to the door wearing nothing but the bedspread said he would turn it off, but then the noise just continued on. By 5:00 am I called the front desk and told them I was leaving and that I wanted a credit for that night because I could not sleep AT ALL from 10:30 pm to 5:00 am, and she had done nothing to resolve it. She said she would talk to the manager and that I could not get a receipt until after she did because she was going to request a credit. There were only a handful of people checked in that night and we were all in rooms right next to each other. When I asked why they put us all on top of each other, she said that was "managements" decision. I ended up driving to a nearby park at 5:30 am to try to catch an hour or so of sleep SITTING IN MY CAR at a nearby park, but could not sleep after all that. This completely ruined my day having zero sleep the night before. I called corporate and submitted a ticket. I tried calling the motel later in the day but they never answered their phone. I never heard back from the motel or from corporate. In addition to the above, the fitted sheets were too small for the bed and kept coming off all night.

Horrible experience. Have stayed over the years at this hotel for the price and the pool for the kids. Checked in, went to the room and the room key didn’t work, went back down to the front desk and they reset the key and went back up and still didn’t work. Went to the desk a second time and they reset it again. I told the front desk guy to walk back to the room with me because I didn’t trust that it would work this time. The keys still didn’t work and another worker walked by and he gave us his key (which I assume would open all the room doors, which was weird but it was late and I didn’t care because my wife and kids were waiting for the past 20 mins in the hallway).
Finally went inside, room was freezing, the alarm clock was unplugged, and one bed had the frame sticking out and broken and there was McDonald’s garbage under the bed. Immediately went to the front and told them I want a refund and they said they couldn’t because it was non-refundable. Will call corporate and get refunded.
Went downtown the street to the Hilton and had a great experience.

Not what I expected, way below average. Best part was the front desk staff was friendly. The worst part was the rooms were dirty and my pillows smelled old and filthy. In addition, there was no safety measures, doors were not locked from the outside, the hallway doors were not locked and the room door locks were old & compromised. This hotel needs a desperate update and better standards for cleanliness & safety.

Absolutely no security for building itself. Anyone can just walk straight in.

Room next door was smoking weed heavily all. night. smell was bothersome . Had to block adjoining room door with pillowcase to block smoke

I did find a ring & earring in the room (more proof cleaners don't clean properly).
Ring is pure silver & may be valuable 🤞

The staff was nice enough, and it was cute to have a balcony room. However the toilet in our room didn’t flush. Maybe they could’ve fixed it but we were only there one night and figured it would take more effort than it was worth. The location is great though

DO NOT STAY HERE! I never take the time to leave bad reviews for anywhere, but this needs to be said. If this is your last resort option, I would recommend sleeping in your car before staying here. The pictures look nothing like the room, the smell of cigarettes and pee is overwhelming and disgusting. We booked online and then sat on the phone with Expedia for over an hour trying to get a refund, which we did not receive. The man at the desk showed us multiple different rooms because we tried to give him the benefit of the doubt that make just one was gross, but they were all equally unclean and unsleepable rooms.
