I’ve wanted to come to this festival for years, finally made it, all the headliners cancelled and we left early. They also announced this was the last festival, no refunds. Could have been great but it was a big bummer. RIP Hoxeyville

Best festival in Michigan. Been going to this for 7 years now. Very family friendly, people of all ages all happy, smiling, dancing and enjoying the weekend. They have great vendors with healthy food options, bar prices are ok for a festival and its the most genuine group of people you will ever meet!!

Hoxeyville hosts the best music festival. Well organized, family friendly, clean, and OH - did I mention the music? Hoxeyville attracts some of the biggest names in the national music festival circuit. There's something here for everyone. Get your passes early and don't miss it!

Your taste in music would determine your rating. All in all it was good & entertaining. Some much better than other performances. Unfortunately the venue area had a chain link fence with only one entrance and exit. Each person entering was frisked for weapons, I understand safety concerns but to confiscate all food items and any kind of beverage is a bit too much. No food or beverages of any kind were permitted. This required purchasing food & beverages from the vendors. Vendors need to make money. That is why they are at these events but again being forced to eat only the limited food choices provided was not something I agreed to do. As far as camping outside the venue area,there seemed to be enough room and all could eat and drink what you chose. No glass bottles of any kind were permitted. The bathrooms for campers was not emptied and cleaned as often as needed. The bathrooms inside the venue area were kept appropriately. Confiscating an unopened bag of chips not okay.

Always love coming here. Disappointed in the way they gate off the festival from the camping, this is why we loved to come. Because you could bring in coolers and watch from any where. This is the major reason it’s only 4 and not 5 stars. Always great musicians! Great soul reset, and going to the pine river for a dip and start the next day is a MUST!
