This place has great study spaces all over the place. Also, the main lounge area has a piano that you can play as well as being a good study area. It does get taken over for events sometimes, but i cant complain.

Went to an orientation for college with my daughter. Super nice and professional students and staff. Really interesting building. The main lounge has four huge fireplaces and the biggest chandeliers I've ever seen, dating back to 1847?! So cool. Go Hawks!

I DJed a wedsing at the IMU last weekend and I just can’t wait for the next wedding that I’m DJing there again! The staff are just sooo amazing and proactive. Made everything smooth and easy. The venue itself is gorgeous!

The IMU is an excellent full service local hotel in the Iowa City area and also serves as the student center for the University of Iowa. The meeting rooms are well appointed. Multiple dining options are available. The university bookstore has a wide variety of specialty items and supplies as well as tech devices. The location is ideal for access to campus, downtown, and trails along the Iowa River.

Fantastic place to study, with multiple floors to attain desired quiet study levels. Even in my senior year I was still finding new nooks and crannies. Also a great place to work, and has great finals week programming. A must visit for any UIowa student (and the hotel inside it that gives it 24/7 hours ain't bad either)

A nice and quiet place to study. The basement was recently restored and is a good place to hang out. Lots of events go on here, and the $3 CAB movies are good. Also a nice river patio that is under utilized!
