This venue is not just a venue, it is a luscious green garden. We had the pleasure of having our wedding at this magical escape and we could not have asked for anything better! The owners are two of the most kind-hearted people and they make sure your day is what you want. This place is exactly what we dreamt of. Thank you Krista and Neal, you both were a pleasure to work with!

Do not recommend. Hillbilly hick town. As the owner stated in the prior review they do not cater BUT you have to use one of their recommended vendors. Basically the owner took no responsibility. These vendors could not care less about you. As another reviewer states awful tri tip and the chicken was dry and tasteless. The catering knows that you are required to use are rude and disrespectful. You are captive to the vendors so they could not care less. Some of the vendors are unprofessional like the coordinator we were required to use.

Suggest you go anywhere else.

While this is hands down the most beautiful outdoor venue in the Chico area that boasts separate areas for your ceremony, cocktail hour and a reception. The part that stands out the most to me is how amazing the staff are. The care & attention to detail that Krista and Neal showed to us is second to none! They went above and beyond to ensure our special day was absolutely perfect! We could not have asked for better hosts for our wedding, nor a more beautiful venue to start our forever at. Thank you so much Krista and Neal for all your professionalism, your hard work and your care on our special day! We highly recommend Irongate Garden Inn to anyone looking for a wedding venue in this area.

Over priced. They make you use their approved vendors let’s just say kickback. Those vendors are independent and do not care about you and provide poor catering and service. Very odd situation.

My daughter and new son-in-law were married here. This was a beautiful location. The owners are really attentive and very easy to work with. The grounds are beautifully manicured and there are three locations on the property so you can do your wedding, cocktail hour and reception. We had over 200 guests and there was enough room for everyone. We were so very happy with this amazing venue for many reasons! Added plus you can rent the house for the weekend so your bridal party can stay!

We had our daughter’s wedding this past weekend at Irongate. The day was absolutely perfect and I give a lot of credit to Krista and the crew that work at the venue. First of all the venue is absolutely beautiful. It is spacious, with lovely grounds. The main house was perfect for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready. Krista was attentive to our wishes; she is organized but most important a very nice person to work with.
I would highly recommend the Irongate Garden Inn if you are looking for an outdoor venue!!

We feel so incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this venue while checking out wedding venues in the Chico area. Don't let the surrounding orchards fool you, this place feels like it was plucked right off of the East Coast and dropped in Northern California with it's brick and ivy aesthetic. Beautiful landscaping, multiple versatile areas, great location. We absolutely loved it. Oozed with class. Our guests are still raving to us about how great the venue was. Krista and Neal were wonderful to work with. Totally accommodating and helpful. The price is notably lower than the other venues in town, but I don't think that will last long! Thank you Iron Gate for an unforgettable night.

Where do I start with Irongate?! When my husband and I walked onto the property we instantly knew we wanted to get married at this venue. We postponed an entire year because of COVID and Krista stayed in contact with us the whole time and was very accommodating while we were trying to decide if we should postpone or not and what dates were available for the following year. It’s a beautiful venue, from the inside of the house to the courtyard where we had the ceremony, to the tented area where we had cocktail hour, to the reception area in the grass. It’s nice that all these areas can have multiple uses. Krista is very communicative and easy to reach. We loved that they have a borrow room which helped us a lot in saving money on décor and little things for like the cake table and bar. The get ready areas for both bridal parties are spacious and offer great lighting. There are so many places to take great photos outside and inside. Our guests could not stop raving about Irongate during and after the wedding. We also thought that the price for everything that it includes was very reasonable! We highly recommend this venue!
