Amazing world-class off-roading!

Ironwoods is great. They rent brand new Polaris Utv’s which are like atv rentals but better. You can take up to 4 people but we each had our own. Let me elucidate by saying I have ridden desert trail bikes for years but never utv’s. These UTV side-by-sides are amazing. They are like little cars mixed with Baja trucks. They have GPS touch screen, automatic transmission, headlights, backup cameras and phenomenal suspension. They handle the bumps like champs! I was expecting my guys to get bounced around but surprisingly it was so smooth!

Ocotillo Wells is the best place to off-road in socal. Hands down! The variety of landscape and abundance of trails makes for a truly epic and endless experience that you could spend a whole week exploring easy!

We went to the dalton sea and had lunch at the truck stop food court. It was so great! Be sure to stop and take some photos because there are some amazing landscapes here.

This is a no-brainer experience for anyone looking for things to do in Anza Borrego.

BEST PLACE TO RENT UTV’s! This UTV got destroyed and instead of being on the hook to replace it like other companies down the road ($30,000+), For $15 you can buy insurance that makes it so even in the case of total devastation you are only out $1500.

That’s a big deal, and something you should care about (unless you drive like a sissy)

We will definitely be coming back because the service was awesome ? and the whole renting process was a breeze. Loved this place it was a total win!

Rented RZR XP 1000 4 door for a day in the desert -- GREAT experience. Furnished all necessary equipment along with GPS and map. Jaycee was very helpful with reservation and checking us in once we got there. More importantly, the machine ran great -- got to and from the desert with no problems. We took a picnic lunch and ate it along the way. Some great riding. Can't wait to do it again.

I stayed here for a night while I was working a job in Borrego Springs. We were installing a 440', 4" galvanized pipe, water well system. 50 hp motor and 150 gallons a minute! Since it was such a big job, we stayed the night at Ironwood's hotel and got food in town. The rooms were great and the atmosphere was quiet. There were rentals and a general store as well. The showers were hot and pool is a great feature. The sunrise in the morning was incredible. If I only stayed there to see the colors bouncing off the hills and magnificent red and pink streaks created from the clouds, I would be happy. This place is nothing fancy, but beautiful none-the-less

Great experience at Ironwood 2-13-21.
RZRs were super fun, WOW!
Help was very friendly and provided all info and gear.
Came back with flat tire, was back out in less than 15 minutes.
Low on gas, came back and was immediately fueled up.
Great service and would recommend.

3 strong reasons to stayaway from this rental store:
1. They will rip you off at the slightest opportunity they get
2. They don’t care about you or about being fair
3. Dishonest staff managing it

I recently rented a vehicle from this place and my experience was HORRIBLE.
They charged my credit card $3000 for 2 minor scratches caused during the ride.
When we returned the vehicle that day, the manager of this place told us that they will assess the damage and let us know their evaluation within 10 days and continued rudely saying ‘take us to court if you don’t like it’.
In the afternoon of the 10th day, I received a damage invoice of $3325 which is very unreasonable. Charging this much to fix minor scratches that didn’t impact the vehicle functionality nor its performance. This is a complete rip off. They are taking a full advantage of the situation.
I tried to communicate with them through emails and phone calls but didn’t get any response. Few of my call attempts were answered but whoever answered told me that he will check and will call me back in few minutes which he never did until this day. Very dishonest staff managing this place.
This rental store will turn your fun day to a nightmare at the slightest opportunity !!!!
