From the moment we first talked to Jess, to our engagement session and then finally our wedding we experienced nothing but perfection. Jess was so easy to work with and she made us feel so comfortable. Both, my husband and I, are awkward people but she knew how to make us laugh and be ourselves in front of the camera. We could not have chosen a better photographer to photograph our love story. She is so professional and produces high quality images. The day after our wedding she shared sneak peaks with us and we were over the moon in love with the photos!

Jess was also very knowledgeable about our venue, which made the portrait photos after the ceremony go quickly so we had more time with our friends and family at the reception. In addition, at the reception Jess and Margaret were literally everywhere taking photos of our friends and family. They captured so many special, candid moments that we will cherish forever. She made me feel beautiful and my husband very handsome. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, seriously look no further.

We got married on 7/15/22, and we had the best photographer ever!!! The vendors you hire to work with you on your wedding day need to be people you want to spend time with, since they are with you for more of your day than some of your family are. Jess Lance is one of the most friendly, kind, and cheerful people I have ever known. She asked all the right questions during our interview process. She is easy to talk to and creates an open environment where you can be vulnerable and share what you want most.

My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of a camera. We first met Jess in person for our engagement shoot, and right away, it felt easy and natural to be the subject of her photos because she is so reassuring in what she says. She is also so knowledgeable that you don’t have to come with a list of poses or ideas. She knows them all, and you will look amazing!

Jess also genuinely cares for those that she photographs. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to be with me in all the moments of my wedding day. We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid, and she emailed us on our original date to just say hi and to celebrate that day with us. As I walked up to my first look, she was so in tune with how I was feeling, she paused, and gave me the time I needed to feel all the feels. She didn’t rush the moments. And our second photographer, Margit, was so involved and helpful with fun photo ideas and support from behind the scenes, not only for Jess, but for my husband and I as well.

Jess is intuitive and kept track of all the moments we had planned, and she was super flexible when I wanted to change my mind. You can’t find a better photographer and, more importantly, a better person to work with than Jess. Thank you for the most beautiful photos to document our best day ever!
