This place is only good for visiting. This is a retirement community that is on the line of a HOA. Owning anything here is irrelevant because of stock holders charging rent like any other park. Your going to constantly complain about things for them to just brush it under the rug because it doesn't effect the stock holders directly only you. They do have events during the summer but in the long run that's what your paying for with rent even if you don't join in any festivities or cant. They used to have it where you could pay half a year if you only came during the summer then they became greedy and wanted a full year before hand. They also require you to have 6 months to a year paid in advance to pay monthly on rent. It's been ran by only boomers who are out of touch with reality at this day of age. I would look elsewhere if you wanna move here cause certain families have ruined a good thing.

A friend of mine has a cottage here that I've visited a couple times. Very laid back atmosphere and kid friendly. Parking can be a bit tight in certain places but not that big of a deal. Once the sun goes down there is always a campfire burning and some cold brews being consumed somewhere

Was there for a Birthday party. Stayed 2 nights, great full hook up on the river. Great price at $30.00 a night. Seasonal people there are not friendly at all. Will stay again for the cousin that lives there.
