We recently stayed at the house for July 4th weekend. The house is in a very bad shape and needs a lot of care. The bathrooms all need to be upgraded.

We recently had our vow renewal at this house. We had 59 people and some stayed the night. The house is big enough and has what you need. We rented a day before the event and I was glad we did. It really needs to be cleaned better and maintained. We spent all day Friday cleaning Gregg who I believe maintains the house try’s but it’s too much for just him. He was great and tried to help a lot. The place could be amazing with a little paint and cleaning. The grass wasn’t cut and we had to even ask for that. The back deck is rotting so we covered it with carpet. The third floor was why we thought it would be great for our event but unfortunately the floor joists have too much of a span and the floor is unsafe so we had to put signs so people would not enter.

The house is beautiful inside and out! My daughter and son-in-law held a simple wedding in the side yard with social distancing that was sweet and beautiful. The entire event made easier by the size and convenience of the mansion.

This house is stunning and grand with modern conveniences. I loved the history of the place and all the lovely antiques. It was a really romantic stay and my husband and I plan to return every year!
