WOW! Hiring Erin at Kabe Magnolia Events was by far the best decision I made for my son's Bar Mitzvah. From the minute we spoke on the phone, I knew she was the perfect person. Erin's ability to take your vision and bring it to life is unreal. She elevated every idea I had, made it happen and did it all with ease and complete enjoyment. She was never stressed or made me feel worried during the process. The day of the bar mitzvah everyone kept commenting on how calm I was, and it was 100% because I knew Erin and her crew had it all handled! We booked The Valley Relics museum for my son’s bar mitzvah and they highly recommended Erin (Kabe Magnolia) as a party planner for this event. Thank god they recommended her! The party was amazing and we really couldn’t have done it without her. We booked her “full package”. We basically used her or her contacts for everything - like the decorations, party favors, Photo Booth, table/chai rentals, slideshow/montage, etc. Her husband does the slideshow and it’s one of my favorite things that came out of this bar mitzvah. I love watching the video montage over and over again. She brought us the most amazing DJ that kept the party going to the last song. She brought the bar tending company and people just loved the bartender that night (wish I had drank more now). We had a budget and she was aware of it and helped guide our decisions. And there were many, many decisions to make and we had phone meetings periodically to check in and hash out all the little details. Erin was on site at the party early to set up and there all night til the end. Whew! What a fun night we had!! I spoke to a friend of a friend who had coincidentally also used Erin many years before us and she said, “You’re in good hands!”. So she’s been in the business for a while and knows what’s she’s doing. We highly recommend her!

About a year before our son’s Bar Mitzvah Elizabeth knew immediately who to turn to for assistance – Erin at Kabe Magnolia Events.

We both work, and knew that we would not have the time, knowledge, or connections to pull off this type of event, but having attended a few KME occasions, and seeing Erin's work first-hand, we knew she would. Indeed, it was these three qualities that we saw in action for a whole year before our son’s Bar Mitzvah and which really sold us on her incredible work ethic and commitment to the process.

First, it was the personal touch: She took the time to talk to us and – most importantly – our son to get an idea of us as a family and our likes and dislikes – and his too. She created a personal vision board for us that really encapsulated our needs. This included themes he might have, color schemes, what type of venue he had in mind. For us parents, she knew exactly our budget and was able to work within all our parameters. No one was left disappointed.

Secondly, it was her connections in and knowledge of the event spaces in our area. Over a year before our event, Erin was looking for suitable spaces and presenting them to us.
As she had already assessed or needs, she found the perfect spot very quickly. It was all so seamless and we booked it very quickly!

Thirdly it was Erin’s communication skills. Erin was in communication with us on a regular basis throughout the year. We are both very busy, so we felt guilty trying to stay up-to-date with all the work Erin was doing on our behalf, but we were very grateful! Then, as the big day approached, she would continue to send us updated checklists of what we have resolved and of decisions we still needed to make. Erin has an excellent roaster of vendors, from DJs to photographers to invitation designers. She kept on giving us options of people to work with that would make the day special. All of them were top-notch. She also made sure to have a detailed timeline for the day and she kept us informed on her communications with all the vendors so that everyone stayed in the loop.

During the day of the party Erin was there early to set up and make the room perfect. She stayed for the event and handled any issue that arose with her usual class.

At the end the day, the celebration was exactly what we wanted, something special, beautiful, and fun. We woke up the morning of the event and hung out at the hotel pool. We were able to do that because we knew everything about the party had been planned and taken care of and we didn’t have to worry about anything.

Obviously, we are biased, our son had the time of his life celebrating with friends and family who wished him well. We had fun and danced the night away after a beautiful service. But it was our friends and relatives who could not stop talking about what an incredible event it was. That they could see the thought and time and feeling put into every decision and that care made the night spectacular. So Cheers! Erin, you’re the best!

Erin and Kabe Magnolia planned all three of my children’s B’Nei Mitzvahs. Not only were the ceremonies and parties out of this world gorgeous and beyond fun; each one had its own distinct feeling and personality that suited each child. Every last detail was carefully planned and our guests left each event saying it was the “best party ever.” The fact that I am so sad that all the B’nei Mitzvahs are over speaks volumes about how enjoyable it is to work with Erin. She is not just a party planner, she is a therapist, a magic maker, a cheerleader and a friend, all rolled into one with a bit of “Mama Bear” sprinkled on top. I always felt so supported, so listened to and I honestly had so much fun planning each and every one of these events. I loved it so much I am thinking up new reasons to have more parties. Maybe I need to have one “just because.” If you need a planner for any type of event… small or large, you will not regret hiring Erin and Kabe Magnolia.

From the initial planning stages to gracefully navigating the challenges imposed by COVID-19, you handled each situation with delicacy and grace. Despite the numerous cancellations, rescheduling, and rearrangements, your unwavering smile never faltered. We often find ourselves wondering how you manage to juggle it all. The party you orchestrated was truly incredible.

And then, just last month, we joyfully celebrated our daughter Sofie's Bat Mitzvah, and once again, you exceeded our expectations. You took the time to sit down with us, attentively listened to Sofie's desires, and skillfully brought her vision to life. From the exquisite centerpieces, photography, DJ, party favors, candy bar, and every intricate detail, you displayed an amazing ability to select the perfect elements that resonated with her.

Your unwavering support and expertise were crucial in ensuring that our Mitzvahs became the flawless, dreamlike events our family had always envisioned. We are forever grateful to Erin and staff at Kabe Magnolia for going above and beyond to make these moments so special for us.

Once again, thank you for everything. Your hard work and dedication have left a mark on our family's memories. We will always cherish these experiences we've had with you, and we look forward to any future celebrations we may have together.
