This museum is full of taxidermy, which is of high quality. Each floor covers different types of animals, invertebrates, mammals, birds etc. We spent about 1.5 hours looking around here, and we were the only ones there! All the different types of butterflies and beetles were so beautiful to look at.

So happy we came across this museum while walking on the main pedestrian steet. It costs only 3€ but it has so much to see. The huge variety of butterflies, snails and sea animals was amazing. Only minus would be the lack on English texts on the exhibits but if interested, there is audio-tour at extra cost.
2 hours well spent!

Really good museum with a variety of birds, mammals, fish and invertebrates. a lot of the specimens are from the Kaunas zoo. It's not very big, I went slowly and looked at everyone and it took me under 1.5 hours. There is not much English signage, so download Google translate and use the camera feature. Bonus - huge lockers for luggage storage!

The best place, which I have ever visited. I got wonderful experience and emotions, as there were fantastic exhibits, like different animals (wolves, monkeys and others). Moreover I have seen different kinds of insects, sea animals, and others. It was wonderful, and very cheap adventure, we paid only 10 euros for 4 people( 2 adults, 2 children). It took 2 hours to walks throw the all exhibits.
