We had a great full day tour of Sequoia Nat’l Park with Kasey! His vehicle was very comfortable and he was an enjoyable, easygoing person. I chose his company based on other reviews which said “quit looking and just book with Keifer’s; you won’t regret it”, and after doing so, I fully agree! We were two adults and a teenager and all had a great day. This really is the best way to see a national park. We went on a weekend and Kasey had access to roads that are otherwise closed to private vehicles on those days. He also knows so much about the park having been a former park ranger there and having lived and worked in the area for 30 years. We look forward to hopefully returning for a Kings Canyon tour with him in the future.

HIGHLY recommend Keifer’s Giant Sequoia Tours. Kasey was great! Being a former park ranger… he truly knew the ins/outs of the park. My husband & I didn’t have to worry about a thing for our half day tour. Kasey picked us up in an a/c SUV & drove us to all the spots you’d expect to see… then plenty more we would have had no idea about if it wasn’t for him!! Thanks Kasey. We had a great time!

When you are a mom planning a trip for your family it can get overwhelming and stressful. I also know those mountain roads can be narrow with steep cliffs. I decided to find a tour guide for our trip to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. I wanted to just show up, relax, and let someone else figure it. Looking at the tour guide companies, I knew I didn’t want to be surrounded by a bunch of other people. I wanted an experience more tailored for my family of four. I have a 14 year old daughter and an 11 years old autistic son. I also wanted to ride in comfort, and I wanted someone who knew what they were doing. Keifer’s tours was exactly what I was looking for and they did not disappoint. Being a previous park ranger for Sequoia and Kings Canyon he knew all the roads, all the best spots to see. The new full size SUV was really luxurious. I especially enjoyed all the views you would miss if you were driving. He was very professional, knowledgeable. Picked us up at our lodge, and all I had to do was sit back, relax and enjoy the tour. By far the best part of our vacation. My justification for the expense was, it’s cheaper than marriage counseling haha, and anyone married for 20 years on vacation in an area they aren’t familiar with understands that statement. Spend the money, go private, go in luxury. You are worth it and you won’t regret it. Bonus, he is a good photo taker too! Tip, do both parks, not just Sequoia. Kings Canyon is amazing and so different from Sequoia.

I was looking for a customizable tour for my in laws and found Keifer Tours. Kasey is an amazing tour guide, very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. This was a luxury experience and my family had a great time. The first tour was so good that we decided to book him for a second tour the next day. He's had a lot of great insights and used to work for the parks and a resort in the area. This was one of the best tour experiences we've had and I highly recommend booking.

WOW! If I could, I’d give all the stars in the sky! Kasey gave me and my husband such a memorable experience. The SUV was very comfortable and we felt so safe with Kasey who knows the area very well. He also offered us snacks and waters. Kasey made sure that we were happy and got to see everything we wanted to see. We also were able to gear the trip to our different needs. I wanted a more “less populated” quiet experience and my husband wanted to see all the sites he read about and learn as much as he could. Per my request, he brought us to a beautiful off-the-beaten-path spot to eat our lunches. It was magical. We got the best of both worlds! I highly recommend Kasey and his tour. Thank you Kasey!

Kasey was lovely and knowledgeable. He showed us so many cool features of the forest that we'd never have found on our own. One of my favorite moments was learning the tiny size of Sequoia seeds, which generate the giant trees (see the final photo here, under the cone, where you can view two seeds with a small pine needle lying between 'em). Five stars for sure!

Great tour! We had an amazing time at King’s Canyon National Park with the Winter Wonderland Tour. We were nervous about driving at the NP after hearing the roads may be closed due to weather. Kasey was extremely knowledgeable about the parks and we felt safe having someone experienced drive us. Highly recommend.
