The place is real nice the DON is so kind all the staff members are great! The patients well taken care of.
My review is nothing about the facility it’s self.
It’s about the scheduler. I work for a staffing agency. I pick up shifts as needed,
Sometime days or weeks at a time. I understand that sometimes they have to cancel. But I don’t understand when the scheduler cancels you one hour or thirty minutes before your shift!
I feel it is rude and inconsiderate, especially when I travel from Michigan to Ohio to help your facility out. I have even text her and said do you need me for this day she won’t respond.
I get up head to Ohio and look one the shift and it’s canceled.
Well why did you not message me and say that so I can pick up some where else.
Like it’s rude and inconsiderate to do so.
So if you are agency do not pick up at this facility because the scheduler seems to be not on the same page as courtesy is on

I had a very positive experience at Kingston after total knee replacement surgery. The staff is very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I would recommend Kingston to all my friends and family.

This is the worst place for care. My husband was in there for rehab. He couldn’t walk and had a broken arm. Aides were very disrespectful and getting help to go to the bathroom was a frikin joke. Took them 20 minutes to come and help him. Rehab was useless. Did a little with his legs then left him in the wheelchair for hours all sweaty and uncomfortable.Never got washed up or asked to brush his teeth. I had to actually go in and wash him because he stunk. This place is all about the $$$$. So please consider somewhere else if you or a loved one needs care.

Worst mistake we have made is putting my grandmother in this rehab. Although day shift has been great to her, night don’t is another story. They
Left her on the toilet for 30-45 minutes when she couldn’t get up herself. She yelled for help and knew staff was in the hallway, but it took that long for them to come and she was stuck. She asked for help readjusting in bed, only for the nurse and the aide to ignore her and leave her. We have complained to multiple managers and staff yet workers are still being assigned to her when asked not too and it has become a nightly issue with something. Her night shift nurse and aide were lazy and unprofessional. When we called right away because she called us hysterically crying, we were hung up on and out on hold and left there. Tonight, She put her light on and an aide came and my grandma didn’t recognize her so asked who she was and the aide said “I’m the one you’re trying to get in trouble”. Another aide came in and told my grandma that the staff was talking about her and saying she was just being racist. She has been waiting for her sleeping pill now for quite some time. She would’ve been better off home with us! Please do not use this rehab. Disregard the 5 stars you’re told. Also notice all good reviews are by “workers”.

Thank you to all the wonderful people of Kingston Perrysburg. From the moment you walk in the door to when you leave everyone is accommodating informative helpful. Husband just recently stayed for 4 weeks after spinal surgery. It was wonderful to see my husband's progress with the constant Pt Ot team. The amazing care from the aides for daily care and comfort and the wonderful care from the nurses who answer all his questions helped him through issues in such a wonderful calm manner. Amazing dietary team with with their wholesome meals and the housekeeping team always there to make sure we have enough of everything we need.

My mother was sent here after hip surgery, it was absolutely horrible. None of the nurses could keep track of her pain meds, eye drops done on time or
her bowel movements. They were giving her way too much pain meds that overtime caused ulcers. They never checked her vitals till I finally said my mom didn't seem right. Her hemoglobin had gone down and she had an urinary tract infection. She was sent to a hospital for blood transfusion. Also bed sores from no one getting her up or changing her position. Nurses responded slow or not at all to call button. Her room was hardly cleaned and sometimes smelled of urine. I was disappointed in everyone, people kept telling me this was a great place, well not anymore.
