Chris was an amazing tour guide for our private tour of 20 family members to the White Pass, stopping at scenic lookouts and waterfalls. The trip was made extra special by his storytelling about the Klondike Gold Rush and a short walk to Lower Reid Falls. Went above and beyond to get pictures of us altogether too! Highly recommended for large groups!

Jenifer was very nice and also very knowledgeable on our recent tour. We enjoyed her sense of humor and willingness to have fun with the clients. We'd definitely recommend her for anyone looking to tour Skagway via bus.

Jenifer was the best tour guide! Very funny and had great knowledge. We enjoyed every moment and thought it to be a better value than the train. Bus was clean and comfortable. Views were breathtaking. Be sure to bring your passport. Will use them again!

We did a last-minute Skagway Summit tour with Klondike and had the good fortune to get Chris as our guide/driver. The guy is phenomenal. Kept the bus captivated for 3 hours. Incredible breadth of local and historical knowledge. Made us feel like we were getting a glimpse of the “real” Alaska for the first time (not the canned tourist version). If you’re going to Skagway, book this tour and ask for Chris.

Denise was an amazing and personable tour guide. I'm so glad we picked this instead of the train tour because we got to get out at a ton of different stops and see these beautiful views. She gave us lots of great information in an accessible way for our kids. We hiked to a waterfall, saw a cemetery, heard stories about Skagway's history, and tasted water from Bridal Veil Falls.

Took the dog sledding and pan for gold tour. This includes a bus drive from Skagway to the Yukon Territory where you get to pet the dogs at a musher kennel. You also get to ride a 4 wheeler pulled by sled dogs. Jennifer, our driver, was amazing. She was so funny and really entertaining. It definitely was a highlight to our vacation in Alaska.

Do NOT book with this company!
We are most disappointed with Klondike Tours, Inc. We booked and paid for the White Pass bus tour a week before our cruise to Alaska. We were told that we would be met at the dock at 10:30. We had an early 'all aboard' time of 2:30 so we were happy we could fit the tour into this schedule.
We waited at the dock for 45 minutes but the Klondike tour bus did not show up. I went to the M and M tour company and asked them to phone Klondike Tours (our cell phones would not work). The response from Klondike Tours was that we were should go to their office in town.
At this time the M and M tour operator offered us two other tours that would fit our time line. As we had booked with Klondike Tours we thought that we should honour that commitment.
When we arrived at the Klondike office in town we were told quite simply that the tour was cancelled. We asked why we had not been informed prior to our cruise departure, or while we were on the ship, or at least at the dock where we had waited for so long. There was no response. We rushed back to the dock to sign up for one of the tours offered to us by M and M tours, but we were too late - the tours would not return in time for our 2:30 all aboard time.
Klondike tours did not make any effort to supply the tour we had paid for; they did not make any effort to inform us that the tour was cancelled, thus having us wait at the dock for the bus, and they had us run to their office to be told that the tour was cancelled - why could they not have told us on the phone so we could at least get another tour in Skagway.
I recommend avoiding this company as they are not professional and made no effort meet their contractual obligations. The eight people in our party were most disappointed that the only option for our day in Skagway was to wander around the city - we are not shoppers and we were really looking forward to taking the White Pass tour.
