Rooms are not equipped with complimentary coffee as stated, no pool, no bar, no gym.
Half of the lights worked in our room. Sink aren't attached to the wall. TVs don't work. Staff was nice but the quality of the room is not worth the $150 we spent.

Upon checking in we had a reservation the man said to avoid a 10 day $300 hold on our card we’d be charged $25 and our room changed. Hoping to upload photos because the room was not cleaned at all. He said no breakfast just coffee when the website is all about breakfast I’m sure the sheets were washed but very stained. Room says non smoking but sheets had holes from smoking. Cats everywhere. Hotel employee said he was using fabuloso to clean the halls. Very disappointed. Rate was nice till we was charged $25 when arrived. Very fishy. Thankful we have a place to stay after seeing the lights at ogelbay but will not be back or recommend this place to anyone and I’m not one to bash a business it’s hard to make it in the world today. But the room has to be cleaned before you offer it to a guest not with cobwebs and noddles on the wall by the trash can!

There is nothing good about this place. How has it not been condemned and shut down? Booked on Priceline and the owner made us pay more to stay. Refused a refund. The old front desk clerk was also rude. Neither would give us a receipt. Once in the room it wasn’t long before we noticed cockroaches everywhere. Crawling on the refrigerator. In the bathroom. We reported and they gave us a spray can to spray them. Guests were being refused clean towels. Needless to say we left and went to Fairfield Inn and Suites. Shouldn’t the Health Department do something about this? The breakfast consists of stale cereal. Pictures on here are very old and not offered. Would not recommend this nightmare experience

The price point listed on the website is for online reservations only. Also 'pet-friendly' means a pet fee sprung on you when you arrive with handwritten signs stating so. My room ended up being $85 with the 'pet fee'. I do not agree with the pet fee not being listed on the website and wish I could get a refund for it. No way to do buisness in my book. It should be listed on the website upfront!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I booked online through Expedia as it was a good price. I had trouble with online booking once before so I called the front desk to make sure my booking went through. The guy that answered the phone had a very condescending tone and told me he couldnt see the bookings until after 3. He seemed very upset I booked through Expedia as he said the hotel only makes $5 off the room that way and told me there is a 150.00 hold for online booking. I advised we hadn't paid for it yet and used the option to pay when we get there. He started trying to upgrade the room for an additional fee and I declined. He told me there is no point booking online as it saves no money. It seems he kept trying to confuse me with unnecessary information and when I would try to ask clarifying questions he just kept interrupting me and told me I was confusing myself. I final got the answers I wanted and thanked him and he just disconnected the line. Don't work in hospitality if you don't want to deal with people. After coming to leave a review and seeing other reviews I immediately canceled the booking.

The place is managed by friendly people with good service but the good ends there
Rooms are okie, bedsheets were clean but room had cockroaches, bees, and variety of insects, hotel has no pool or any other amenities and seems like everything js under construction.
Cats everywhere outside, lobby, service desk, vending machine and surprisingly a pet fee so i didn’t understand do you love pets or hate them
The worst is the complimentary breakfast which is a bait and trap since you cant even get a descent cup of hot coffee, empty milk and orange juice, one loaf of bread with peanut butter from a bottle, and there was cereal but no milk to eat with and worst of all the staff just leaves their desk for the whole breakfast time and not there to refill the milk.
Why publish having a breakfast and not serving bare minimum items.
I only hope they do better in what they are doing

Super rude Obviously we Google searched a room and the first thing that comes up is the attractive rate on Expedia. Front desk personell was rude. Cancelled immediately.

I went for an event at WV penitentiary. I stayed one night at the hotel. I got a standard room. 2 queen beds and non smoking. It was roughly 82 dollars for the one night. They had two cats that roam the hotel as micers. The staff was friendly as could be.
